Seriously though. How sick would it be if right before the Irish run out of the tunnel, they kill every light in Notre Dame Stadium, and the team runs out to a sea of flashbulbs as they glow in the dark (maybe even while they blast this music we've been hearing about). I'm as big of a fan of tradition as anyone. But if this happened I might lose my mind (in a good way).

I also suggested glow-in-the-dark in a previous post. I definitely think it would qualify as something Oregon has not done. The game atmosphere with the entrance you described would be absolutely insane.

I am trying to get up for the game and if I am in the stadium and that happened I think you would be able to hear my voice through your TV screen. I would go nuts.

Come to think about it, I would do that at home too.

I coach a travel baseball team, and it is true that glow in the dark jersey material does exist. The business we get our jerseys from, the lady told us we could it. That would be so sick!!! This is really the only thing that Oregon hasnt done so this is a likely possibility.

I'm only 22 years old and I like a lot of the alternate uniforms that teams in all sports have come out with over the last decade or so, but Notre Dame having black jerseys (or worse, helmets) would make me sick. There are so many other ways to be creative with blue/gold/green/shamrocks/etc that I think it'd be a crowd-following cop-out to use black like everyone else already has. Alt uniforms in general get young football players amped up, leave the black to the schools with no tradition.

I would also like to see that but I am not sure that they would be able to turn the lights off. Just seems a bit dangerous for the fans that will be there. I'm actually going to be there and if they just come out in their home unis, I'll still be pumped. GO IRISH!!!!!!

My pick for the two alternatives are based off this image:

Solid Flat Navy, helmet to shoes. The neon O, replaced with Kelly green outline of a shamrock OR a navy glossy finish shamrock that sort of blends in w/ the helmet. Replace the wings on the shoulders with Celtic design. All numbers/logos/etc on the jersey should be accented with Kelly green.

Second alternative is same as before only using a very dark green, helmet to shoes.

If anyone has a photoshop program or any other software that can somehow design this, I'd really be interested in seeing how it really looks. In my head, I can't picture a better looking alternative, special occasion, uniform.

This song gave me visions of The Situation leading the team out of the tunnel. Maybe Touchdown Jesus could be altered to look like he was fist pumping as well.
