Well until NSD nothing is set in stone so if we lose a high profile guy like this on August 27th, its not the end of the road. BK still has time to show his high powered offense

Just a little update... per ESPN
"Those schools in the top five are schools that I liked the coaches a lot and I can see myself going there," Williams said. "Now it is more about what I want to major in -- business -- and what their business schools are like. Getting along with the players, if I can get a feel for that, what type of offense they run, what are their schemes and who are the quarterbacks and receivers in front of me."

That gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Wow. Seems like we have a decent shot considering ND is the #1 ranked business school in the country.

We have put ourselves in a great position. He came out on his own dime to see campus. Let us not get too high or low on this one. We are in a fortuitous situation where we are not just relying on one guy...but it would be huge.

Maybe someone could help me understand something, if there is an easy answer.

How can Scouts, Rivals, and ESPN have such differing takes on a player? #22 #11 and #1 WR in the country?

I understand disagreeing on the top 5 or even on the top ten but that seems like such a disparity.

Well my theory is ESPN rates southern players higher than northern players and it doesn't hurt if you commit to play in their under-armor game.

I was skeptical of your statement until I checked. You are correct, ESPN does have a bias towards warm weather states.

Someone went on a rant last year on the other IE site about ESPN bais recruiting. I think a lot of their top rated prospects were all committed play in the under-armor game.

This is a visible trend. It makes their game seem more prestigious if all of the highly touted players commit to their UA game. Recruiting is no different than anything else, it's all about money.

If Kasen hits it off with our commits, he's ours. They're turning into a brotherhood. There are so many other reasons to come but I still think it comes down to that. Does he feel like he's one of the guys.

I agree 100%.

Luckily I feel like we have a bunch of really good kids coming in so that works well for us!

We need to get Brindza on the phone with him. He's doing great work thus far. A friend of mine is convinced Kasen is the next Floyd due to similar stature.

Per Rivals:

ND is sitting in 3rd behind Washington and Cal.

Decision set for later this month

That and his daddy's a Husky. It was Washington's to lose

I think mom is too.

I was hoping he's wait to see the Kelly O in action.

The numbers crisis in ND's secondary is going to mean a better shot at PT for the next group of ND receivers.

Fingers crossed for this young man, but if it isn't Notre Dame, at least it isn't U$C.

I dont see him coming away from the west coast. He has put enough distance between his visit and his decision date, that we are not fresh on his mind. The only chance that remains in or favor is his choice of major. If he is truely looking for the best buisness school then he's not going to find that on the west coast.
I think after August 27th, Irish faithful will be a little disapointed. However, I also look at Shuler and Daniels filling the WR void before its all said and done.
