I don't know what to personally make of this game or this team anymore. I did not expect the struggles that we had against Pitt, not coming off a game where we played and looked as polished as we did at OU. Yes, Bama struggled, but they struggled on the road against the #5 team in the country, not at home against an unranked opponent. We need two complete games heading into USC in order to build and establish consistency down the stretch.

any chance they fire Spaz this week to get the players to rally around him ala Syracuse in '08? That loss for me was the ugliest of the CW era, even worse than the two Navy loses.

Manti was there for that game.

Game Day is doing their show in San Diego. Herbie going to be a busy boy if he starts there.

I know VaTech has had a horrible season, but that is a pretty good Thursday night game.

A&M/Bama, K-State/TCU, Cowbells/LSU, Oregon St/Stanford, PSU/Nebraska, ASU/USC, NW/Michigan (huge game for our SoS).

Nothing marquee, but there are a lot of interesting games.

For the record, if our offense is going to explode against an opponent, it will be this week. Here are some interesting stats for BC...

- They give up an AVERAGE of almost 500 yards of offense per game (235 on the ground, 250 in the air).

- They average 77 yards of rushing per game (122nd in the country)

- They have allowed 22 sacks

- They have only gotten 6 sacks for themselves for the entire season

My head will explode if this is close by any means.

Tuitt will get three sacks.

I think we sack their QB 7 times.

They'll try to exploit our aggression by running screens.

Manti will have two picks, one for six.
;)

Hope.

I'm not sure those would even work. I have noticed this year that about 85% of the time we only rush 3-4 guys each play and we still get a lot of pressure.

I'm from Boston. I love Boston.
But for the love of all that is holy. I want to crush this team.
I really don't think I'll be happy with any score that doesn't represent Okie State Savannah State.
No I'm not bitter about the fact that Gordon cost me a Griffey JR rookie card or anything.

I'm with ya, Wooly. Just cannot see this one being close at all. Should be all but done by halftime.

I have an unhealthy hatred of BC. My freshman year was 2002... Always a huge game for me. Hope we absolutely destroy them.

Agree with this. My junior year was 93. Got to see the number 1 lit up for one great week. It all came crashing down the next because of fredo. Hate them.

Me too. Had an obnoxious high school acquaintance (and then BC freshman) drive in and stay with me for that weekend. After they won, he got sh!t-faced and taunted everyone for the rest of the night.

After he passed out on a couch in our dorm basement, I shaved off his eyebrows. Haven't seen him since.

I regret nothing.

Nor should you. I met a kid at law school who was a BC grad. He stalked me to a bar I was at with friends of mine from home who were in town visiting. Ended up following us home from the bar and peed all over my friend's living room.

I can honestly say I've never met a BC grad I liked, and I grew up in New England and live in Boston.

I was off predicting a drubbing of Pitt. I thought ND would respond better to the big win at OU, showing they are hungry. Instead, they played sloppy and missed key chances in the redzone early. They woke up in time and got the W though. Also, Pitt was a much better team than people give them credit for. I think people remember the loss to Youngstown and immediatly write them off. Sunseri has been great at taking care of the football all year, and their running game has gotten better every week. Chryst is going to make that Pitt team a strong opponent for years to come.

Now, about BC... no way ND sleepwalks through another three quarters. My prediction is delayed by a week, but I'm sticking to it. ND is hungry, they have gotten to 9-0 and tasted success, as well as near-defeat. They will come out against BC ready to go, and will show that they aren't satisfied, that they want more. They drub BC, drub Wake, and go into the Coliseum looking to burn Troy to the ground.

Headed to BC this weekend with my Dad and Uncle, meeting up with my twin, all of whom went to or currently go to BC. Because my ticket is in the student section, I unfortunately will be forced to put on the disgusting yellow and maroon colors as I enter the student section (to be fair, I made my bro do the same when he was at ND last year). I can not even think of what my life will be like if we lose on Saturday... Can't afford another undefeated season ended by BC. Warning to all ND fans: THIS IS BOSTON COLLEGES BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON. honestly if they went 1-11 but beat ND it would be a good year for them. We are their "rival" and while the game doesn't mean that much to us, I can promise you they will be ready to play.
