The fact he said stay strong #Irish makes me feel like something personal happened to a commit or current Irish team member, hope I'm wrong.

Jaylon tagged the tweet with #irish, indicating that the bad news pertains to our football team. That tweet was then retweeted by Heuerman, who is closest with Anzalone of all our recruits. Then we have confirmation from Gator message boards that Anzalone flipped on his visit last weekend.

That's pretty strong circumstantial evidence.

fwiw, Sapp seems to feel that Jaylon's tweet is probably not recruiting related ... I got the impression that he thinks "stay strong" strikes too emotional a tone to be about recruiting. But he admitted that he's guessing like the rest of us.

In all honesty it could be about someone losing a family member, or someone getting injured in a game....

Well, in this case, it is not the rumor mill's fault. Jaylon addressed the Irish Twitter world with a vague suggestion that something bad happened and its pretty natural to hope it is something minor that just feels big, like a de-committment.

Once again, I hope Alex stays. But if I have learned one thing this year, it is that chemistry is king. Get yourself some great players, but get yourself players who are dying to be in the Bend. Its a unique experience and it is not for everyone. However, it is for the Teos, Tuitts, Golsons, Attkinsons, Daniels, etc., so no need to compromise!

Going over Jaylon's twitter feed, just seems he is sending out prayers and love to Sherit and Shane Morris. Sherit tore his ACL (or did something to it) and Morris has had mono I believe. I don't see anything to suggest the decommit route.

Why would he #irish related to Sherit? Was Sherit on board? Whiskeyjack got me thinking.

Me too. I am hoping it was a decommit because that is just not a big deal in the whole schme of things.

But I actually think you have a good point. The hash tag is "Irish," not "Stay Strong, Irish." Big difference IF you can count on the kid's grammar...
