I just hope he's finally settled into whatever role he's intended to play in the offense. I think a lot was put on him at the beginning of last year and things just didn't work out for him. Maybe it was a bit too much on his shoulders, maybe it was him not being entirely comfortable in the slot and at PR. Whatever it might be, I'm not sure if there's another player on this team that had flashed such potential but then disappeared at other times (note: I don't think the disappearance was all on him, I hope we get to distribute touches better this year too). I think his move back to a more RB dominant role at the end of last year was good and I started to see more of those brilliant flashes. I'm excited to see what he can do this year.

p.s. I'm also excited that we're beginning to have substantive topics to discuss in regards to ND football too!

I'm with TT. Hype is fine. Imo if you can't handle the expectation of being a stud you cant handle big moments in big games.

Valid point. I guess I'd just like to see him perform as advertised.

I'm not sweating "hype". I just want Theo to be able to be comfortable in the offense and play to his highest potential. All i'm asking for is 1 or 2 big PR's, 100yds on the ground (complementing Woods 150yds), and 80 yds receiving(1 wheel route for 80) Is that too much to ask for?

looked like he was hopping around having fun at the end so it doesn't seem like it's anything to worry about

Theo has been very good for us this year! He is starting to run better as the season goes on but he has made some very big catches for us in clutch situations! Very excited for him and hope he continues to get better!

He ran very hard on saturday and deserves all the credit for his performance. On a side note if we can run the ball like this against Oklahoma with some smart QB play it should be an interesting game.

You are right QB play will be key! If the running game is consistent and Golson plays clean and make 3-4 big plays we may be talking about 8-0 on Sunday! Gotta score TD's in the redzone though, if we don't capitalize in those situations could be a very long day.

And yet people (Buster, looking at you) say 'Cierre's the best back and it's not even close'.

Please.

Theo has more attempts, more yards, more touch downs, and 20 receptions (one reception short of leading the team) for over 160 yards whereas Cierre has a whopping 2 for 9 yards. Theo balls hard every play and is the most underrated player on the team, imo.

Theo is very undervalued. I think that 50+ yard run he had opened some eyes. He is the most complete back on the team. However I believe this rotation is benefitting all three but most importantly the team is benefitting from fresh legs in the 4th qtr!

Because it is not even close. You do realize why Cierre has less attempts and yards because he was out for two ****ing games. They barely put him in Michigan State, they work him back too slowly. I like Theo but he has a couple of nice runs and then a bunch of bad runs. Cierre is more consistent, and gains more yards on plays that should be stop. Last year Cierre ran for over a thousand yards, Theo can't say that. Cierre averages a whole yard more than him. Theo has only two good games this year. Cierre needs 15-20 touches a game. IMO
