Very patient runner. Uses his blockers well. Not too bad of an out of nowhere pick up

Also love the fact that he runs out of a spread in high school. Easier transition than going from I-formation/pro style.

Just 10,000? That stadium looks bigger than Wake Forest. Damn.

This is still kind of surreal. When I logged on today and saw a guy I'd never heard of with "Notre Dame Verbal" next to his name, my first reaction was to be mad at Ironman for being sloppy with the thread title. lol. Then I clicked in the thread and it was no mistake at all.

Methinks this commitment says more about the status of Cameron Roberson than anything else. Had no idea we were even looking for a power back in this cycle. I also wonder what happens if, hypothetically, he visits and doesn't like ND or picks up a big time offer from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, etc.

Or if he has a repeat of his sophomore year (or better) and those schools pick up interest in him.

Still got to love that he committed, must really like something about ND!

I'm not worried that he won't like it when he visits. He knows where ND is; he knows it's not south beach. When kids come to campus, they're typically blown away. We always say we won't have a good chance with recruit X "unless we get him to campus." I can't imagine he won't love it.

As others have said, awesome surprise to jump on here today and see another 4:s: commit that wasn't even on the radar. Welcome to the family, Jamel.

I love his highlight film. It's nice to have a bruiser. I like the fact that he said he " I want to take all 5 visits to ND".

Where? So we can go there and look, too.

Was this the kid everybody said Corey Robinson was working on for like the last three or four weeks?

How did we get a verbal from a guy we never had a profile on? I thought we were perfect!?

I think TT cleared him so that Coach could ultimately take his commitment. Maybe it was N.D. in L.A., but he definitely passed IE 's clearinghouse.

Was he? I hadn't heard. It would make sense. Corey Robinson was the one to break the news to the Twitter-verse.

I'll post Rawhide when I feel like he's committed. This smells like "just holding my spot". Which is cool, because it's always nice to be the first option, but if he was trying to commit to FSU less than three weeks ago it doesn't exactly feel like a commitment.

Nevertheless, Congratulations to Mr. Cook and Mr. James. It's a good day.

247 is being cryptic saying that this isn't officially a "done deal".... quite odd.

Super odd, considering James is openly celebrating and accepting congratulations on his commitment. He sure seems to think its a done deal.
