#335 from Corey's thread. Was the guy he was working on and it was posted on May 23, 2012, so there was plenty of time to get him through admissions, etc. Good job, Corey.

AND, the think I like about all the article I have seen, is how you can track Jamel's character developing. He is more interested in inspiring his team this fall, (than being say a Shane Morris, who wants to put a #1 class.)

I think sometimes they hold back Info. so they have a story for their "Tunnel vision"....

I'm a fan of big backs. People love the scat backs out of high school, with their blazing 40 times but when Jonas Grey was healthy last year look at how well our offense did. This kid seems to be in his mold at 5-11 and 220 lbs. also he's pretty quick too. Great signing!!

Good directions guys, and good comparison to Beanie:

Maybe the reason that he didn't get the Pub yet, is nobody can scramble fast enough to put it together. How does it usually work? Is this something that is communicated inside for a while where all the info is gathered, type is set, interviews are scheduled, etc.?

I noticed one thing looking at the Beanie films. The way he runs, "down low, with high knees", or whatever, it looks like Beanie can be deflected easily. Maybe that explains what the only criticism by Ark fans about JJ was. That he seems to run out of bounds quickly. What 'cha think?

Kid definitely doesn't shy away from contact..... my only issue watching him on film is ball security (where and how he carries the ball)... once he gets up with the big boys he will learn high and tight in a hurry....

I would love it if James signs with the Irish in February. He's an absolute beast with speed. I find it strange that 247 isn't reporting it "officialy". Things are getting a little testy on 247 on the staff's part. Can anyone paraphrase what they are saying on II or ISD? It would be greatly appreciated.

Wish I knew what was left to be worked out. I mean it's just a verbal commitment; it's not binding on anybody anyway. I'm very confused.

Also, I feel like someone should tell James that there's stuff left to be worked out. Because he is accepting congratulatory high-fives from the whole Twitter-verse. Embarrassing for him if we have to turn him away.

Like Trent Richardson, Jonas didn't make anyone choose- he was one of the fastest RBs in the country.

This kid looks like Robert Hughes to me (as far as athleticism) as others have said. We need one of those guys.

EDIT: I love how he runs through people, and Petrino was a great RB scout. If his 40 is true, we're in real good shape.

His running style reminds me more of Ricky Williams than anyone else.

Very excited we finally got a good running back.

This is my first post and I'm looking forward to some good conversations. I have to say that nothing shocks me in recruiting, but this is the exception to the rule. Love the pick up and I expect him to be upgraded in the mid year reports.
