I can't really remember bc it happened a while ago, but didn't Tee change highschools? Could there be a possible problem there with the clearinghouse, maybe some of the classes didn't transfer correctly/somethings missing?

He transferred high schools in order to EE, I believe. There is a very good possibility that is the clearinghouse issue.

I don't see a way Tee can come back without the coaching staff communicating with him, it seems to me they are ticked off. But hopefully its just because of NCAA regulations and after a certain time will be able to resume contact.

This whole situation is unpredictable and has too many twists

Well Tee claims to not be in contact with the coaches. Chatsports exchanged twitter DMs with him, when I logged in I read the conversation and he said "Coaches won't speak to me" "Dont return messages or calls"

Though who really knows.... Not sure what to believe

It is similar but not exactly the same as the AL situation. Now I understand a whole bunch of random (seemingly) comments.

Some poster here has been saying for a while, before signing day, that they thought Russell has a higher upside at corner.

Wow 11 pages of nonsense. Let me see if i can break this down.

1) ND and Kelly took a chance on a kid who should not have been admitted to ND.

2) Tee crashed and burned in his short time at ND

3) Tee is now working to get back to ND

4) No one knows if ND will take him back.

How is this bad for anyone?

I see two scenarios. Tee works, gets admitted and re-joins an ND team in desperate need of CB's or he works his but off to get his grades up, doesn't return to ND but still grows as a person as a result.

My understanding is that in his short time there he was very popular. Not sure if it was Te'o or NIx, but one of them tweeted that they have never seen a freshman so well liked so early. Was he a **** up? sure, but that doesn't make him a bad kid.

Okay, the grieving process is over. Mods please close this thread. Only thing left is for fightin' as most don't take time to listen to each other, anyways.

And that means you. Jason is one of the most respected posters around here, and I just don't see anyone needing to try to put his feet to the fire. And for the record, Hanson used the door closed analogy, Kelly said the ship had sailed, and the program had put it's assets elsewhere.

I'm still curious as to how he was allowed to start classes in January if his grades or ACT weren't up to snuff? Does admissions allow the athletes to start before they can complete a review of the athletes academics?

Who gives a ****. It's fall practice, baby. Staff took a shot on a big talent and it didn't work out. I hope they do it again and it works out. But tee's gone.
