FWIW, it was Tenpenny that reached out to Alford about visiting. his mom is the one that was pushing it.

Also not the mystery visitor per Wiltfong.

jus can't see bama losing out if they continue to do well

Sometimes it's not always about how good the football team does. If that's the only thing that mattered we would never get good recruiting classes haha

Remember when you could make a pile of money and live off the interest? Not the case anymore. The power of a ND degree is blessing for life.

Yes, I would like to know the answer as well, I never heard anything about it... It was the talk of the forum the day before, but never heard anything during or after it was actually suppose to happen.

You have to like hearing that..... Mama knows best.... If this guy comes to ND he would work his way to the top of the depth chart awfully quick.

I don't know about that.

Atkinson and Carlisle will both be juniors. Russll and Mahone will be a sophomore/frosh.

Mahone probably wouldn't be an issue, considering his playing style.

Why Sure
Riddick: grad
Woods: possible draft
Atkinson: fumble problems
Carlisle: Legit #1
Russell: Good chance he doesn't stay at Rb position
Mahone: could challenge

By all accounts theres a good chance all of those things do not happen but Tenpenny has a real shot at being #2 which would mean a serious amount of PT.

Well, time to get the ACME Agency involved.

I'd be more inclined to engage Nick Danger (Regnad Kcin if reading the name painted on a glass window door) to deliver the goods. Assuming that no anchovies are involved.

Running back Altee Tenpenny and offensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson all were under heavy consideration for five-star status and it would not surprise us if any of these players were rated as five-star prospects by the end of the cycle.

Per what scouting service? 247?

Getting this kid would change the dynamic of our offense a lot. I'm not getting my hopes up just yet but I am daydreaming a little and it sure is beautiful! Kelly is building a team that mirrors a certain power house down south. I won't say it cuz yuze guys would hurt my feelings as I is sensitive. But I see it and am looking forward to the next few years!

Tenpenny talks recruiting

Summary from Volnation board was that he will definitely take visits to Bama, Arky, and Oklahoma State. He'll choose between UGA, ND, and UT for the other two.

Just getting him here on an OV will give us at least an outside shot. Not likely to get him but just getting an OV from this kid is a big victory for BK and his recruiting staff. Getting a SEC kid to get up to ND shows me a lot about BK and his staff, and he's not the first.

I think it's his mother who is pushing him to go up. Which can be a good thing (Tuitt, Kory Minor) or not so good (Poole).

Wow... He'd definitely be great to pick up at RB

Seriously! I know it's a long shot, but how awesome would it be to steal him from Bama??? Gunner from LSU last year, now (with fingers triple crossed) Tenpenny from Alabama? Talk about pulling some **** on the recruiting trail...::yawn::...man I just woke up from this crazy dream...

if henry chooses bama tomorrow...might tenpenny open back up?
thats a ton of top flight rb recruits for bama (to go along with who they already have)

i could swear i remember reading where ND was/is keeping in touch with this kid and had established a good rappor with him and his peeps

Henry probably won't be used as a RB. He's too tall. One of the services has him rated as a TE.

EDIT: I thought someone graded Henry as a TE, but they all have him as an ATH.
