Retweeted some guy saying it seemed like he's announcing his decision tonight. Certainly plenty of pro ND tweets and seems like himself and Anzalone have struck up a bit of a friendship.

Like a lot of people my opinion is divided on this kid. Seems talented and has a good offer list but will certainly be the least solid verbal if he does commit. Also really hope landing him wouldn't cause us to miss on Alquadin Muhammad.

If the staff wants him, then who am I to say I don't. Obviously they think they can work with him. But I'm not super excited about Ogundeko. When you watch them on film, Sherit and Muhammad are really exciting prospects with a lot of athletic ability and apparently the frame to grow into DEs, if Kelly and Longo want to go that route with them. Drennon doesn't have the same length but is pretty explosive out there. I don't see the same length or athleticism from Ogundeko.

On the other hand, it's not like Sherit and Muhammad are heavy ND leans or anything. Sherit appears to have serious interest but could also commit to UF any day, and Muhammad has never visited; no idea how serious his interest is. Drennon too. So at least Ogundeko would give us the true CAT that we currently lack. And he wouldn't have to play right away, with Shembo back in 2013 and Ishaq in 2014 as well, so there would be time for the staff to coach him up.

So if we get him, I think you have to take the bird in the hand and be pleased. If not, the silver lining is that we have the space to continue pursuing other prospects who might have more upside.

I would take this kid in a heart beat. He has a good size and I like that he can be a hybrid DE/OLB. If the coaches want him, I want him.
