I think I've posted once in game thread. Those things are insane. I do usually stick to the commentary ones, but even then, some people like to carry over their frustrations.

2 best available... likely a RB, DB, or ATH type of guy and a CAT prospect.

I think Hunter is a real possibility but who knows if he'd actually stay? might be wrong for saying it but i think a scholly might be a waste in this situation.

= 6 recruits with two 5th year possibilities

If we got 2 more CBs, Kinlaw could definitely play WR.

IMO, we need 1 or 2 more at the following positions: RB, WR,
CB, DL.

I think we get 2 more DEs, and one more each at RB, WR, and CB plus a punter.

I don't see anyone on the horizon, but I do think the Opening helped us a lot, because our targets seemed to respect and like our recruits.

I want to go back to a comment TT made on another thread, (I believe). Did you notice how little love we got from the ESPN crew at the opening? Auburn and other schools are being commended for the class they are putting together. No one commented on a single ND recruit. Interesting story that JO had his jaw wired? No, but VH was battling a sprained ankle so he was the most valuable snapper. And it went on. Did JS get any love? And AA's questions went flat; when have you ever seen a committee treated like that?

Back to it at wide receiver we have Toni Hunter to leverage against Treadwell. He says he has interest. We need to move on the corners.

IMO I think Anzalone is ND's last commit for awhile. I don't see any recruit that has ND on their radar making a decision soon. I think we will be into the season before we see another commitment.

Here is my thinking much like your guys' on top talent left on the board that I would like a combination of:

Sherit/Muhammad
Alexander/Hargreaves/Moore/Willis
Altee/Mizzell
Hunter Jr./Allen
"unknown"
Punter

I'll be interested to hear what impact an official to ND will make on Beckwith and Trey...crossing fingers it's a big one.

Is he planning or rumored to be planning another trip?? I thought money was an issue for his family so I would tend to think he will probably wait for officials.

If Mizzell wants to pick before the season, that will force something at running back. If LT is really interested in playing wider receiver at Notre Dame, that should force something with Hunter. Just a feeling, and as Sherit gets serious ND may "pick" him.

Its been reported he might make a return trip in August. Speaks volumes given his family's financial situation. I hope he makes it up before OVs or we are his first OV because another school may change his mind... Wonder if anyone in IrishMob talks to him. Saw Jaylon talks to LJ Moore

Interesting comment on Power Hour... not sure who the caller is (Coach D?)... but he said something about many kids going "eff taking a foreign language or math" and ruling out ND that way.... and mentioned a RB this year as an example. Anyone know who they were referring to?
