Yikes. Not loving that lack of depth. I'd hate to use Okwara this year at 16 or 17; hope we can give him a year to mature.

Back in January I wasn't really sweating the Armsteads like a lot of people were. Now I really, really wish we'd gotten them.

Stockton, yes. Always forget about him. Maybe this is the year he starts to contribute. We may need him to.

Okwara just seems like a steal! A year younger, already a monster, and still room to grow. I could definetly see him redshirting but could also see in a bind him seeing the field ala Kona. Hope it doesn't come to that but this be a tough sport so we shall see.

Troy Niklas needs to be moved back to defense.

This team has went from being very deep on the D-Line to being very thin in the last several months.

Isn't niklas hurt too?

Last I heard he had concussion like symptoms that kept him from playing in the Blue & Gold game. That could have been a lot of things. Turningpoint says, be prepared to lose him in the next year or two. I don't know. I haven't heard anything else. I bet he is healthy. I bet they just didn't want to show the offense with him in.

I wouldn't count on Stockton, just doesn't have the size to play in this defense.

Dude, he is as big as Sheldon Day. And go back and look at the spring tape. He was thumpin'. I said before, he is my senior affect candidate for this year, even over Goody.

I'm happy to be wrong on this (not that I was the one who posted it). Mods delete everything posted in the last hour please.

This. I liked what I saw out of Stockton in a couple of those spring vids, and I'm hopeful he can make a contribution.

Glad to hear that Hounshell isn't out though, as far as we know.

Well.... that's complicated... he could be done for good or full go.... I think most are hopeful at this point that he won't have to hang it up. I also think it's prudent to keep details on his "injury" on the DL (although I know most on here already know the issue...) because we don't want it targeted if he indeed can keep playing.

I wish we had given Hafis Williams a 5th year. Not sure why we didn't with Cwynar choosing not to come back.

That I did, sorry man. I guess the staff didn't think Lynch was going anywhere, and even with the issues that surrounded that situation rarely do you see a starter opt to transfer idk. Either way you are right bro he would have been nice to have in the rotation.

Thought Chase had bone spurs and Collinsworth had the torn labrum? When did Chase even hurt his shoulder?

The only three injuries I heard are Collinsworth with the torn whatever, Roberson with a massive explosion, and Brad Carrico; I assumed he was the one that was done. Actually I heard that Collinsworth was a torn labrum good for one year, and that Roberson and Carrico were filing for medicals. TurningPoint is the one who pointed out the other thing about Herc.

Thought Chase had bone spurs and Collinsworth had the torn labrum? When did Chase even hurt his shoulder?

At the end of October.

Good news about Chase.

I also wanted to remind you guys that Justin Utopo saw a ton of time on the DL this spring.

Does he maybe have the seriously injured lineman confused with Carrico, and the injury itself with Collinsworth. Seems awful coincidental. Torn labrums, (I am so glad I didn't say labia, wow, I could have really embarrassed myself!) aren't that common of an injury.

The guy on ISD is going to the mat with this info..... so I'm very interested to see who is right and who is wrong here.....

Unless the poster on ISD is the physician dealing with Chase and he hasn't yet shared his findings with his patient, its hard for me to believe that "the guy on ISD" is going to be right on this one.
