Why are so many of you getting antsy about him taking his time? Anything I have read about Isaac Rochell leads me to believe that once he gives his word, his commitment is over. It is June and he has plenty of time to make sure he is dong the right thing. He has consistently confirmed that Notre Dame is his favorite for months. This is a young man with his head squared away and when he has absolutely eliminated all of the other colleges courting him, he will commit and then it will be over. He will most likely be coming but I would be surprised if he commits prior to his visits. This is not going to be a drama filled roller coaster ride of a commitment...and I have to respect him for that.

A lot of kids are counseled not to commit on the visit. Wait until the high wears off and think it over. If you still love it at that point, commit.

No reason to think Isaac isn't in that camp.

Told ISD he feels better now about ND than he did before visit, still his number one. Also said he is going to make sure he's made the correct decision, no pressure from staff.

Saying that you feel even better about ND (when you already felt great) and that you really want to make sure you MADE (past tense) the right choice is as positive as it gets without a commit.

Probably ends up commiting on his OV.

Whether he commits in June or September it doesn't matter, most important thing is that he signs in February.

Yes and those were direct quotes from him, not paraphrasing from ISD.

Hell you never know, he could think about it the next couple nights and surprise us! Not saying he will but it's happened several times in the past. I like the idea of him committing on his official though like Philly is saying. Hopefully a win win for us!

A Freudian Silent Commit!

Actually when I read "once he gives his word, his commitment is over" dormant brain cells murmured "Greg Little", "Chris Little" and other Charlie Weis nightmares.

I know what you meant and agree with your post.

Everybody needs to just relax and enjoy his recruitment:

TJ on II said that it wasn't Rochell's intent to make a public commitment on this visit. Key word is PUBLIC. Yes I do think he is a silent.

And you would know that because ... ?

This person may not be a silent but it happens. Jaylon was a Silent on June 1.

Besides Lax did say "mythical silent". Leave it for Wooley to joust with myths.

Saaaayyyy what???

I just posted a joke about purring.

But then again, my brother isn't playing Michigan.

I cant imagine anybody watching their brother play a team and root against his blood. What is Michigan thinking letting him official to this game?

I'm going with the silent thing. If we're number 1, JS pushing, boat filling up, thinking he wanted to reserve a seat for the ride.

I bet he publicly commits before September, UM will tell him he can't OV for 1) they have to know his brother is at Air Force and 2) their class might be full by then haha
