I find myself cheering against all European countries simply due to their soccer arrogance. England, France, Germany, and Italy in particular. Childish yes... fun to do... yes.

So, I like root against teams, I'm what fanboys call 'a hater'... I cheer against teams as much as I cheer for...

Whenever a team I dislike loses I always picture Momma Frateli from The Goonies and her "Thank You Mr. Willy, Thank You." Always struck me as a great moment in hater history....

Think we're all in this same boat together boys. Beat we're not alone...as in there are a bunch of USA haters in the same way.

See, the thing is, NO ONE looks like Germany... like ever... they always look a team apart with their style. Our style is very different.

Right, exactly my point. No one looks as good as Germany. So if a lesser team as in the US beat Ghana...a better team like Germany will make pudding out of them (I think thats how I put it), which is exactly what I said in the beginning.

I don't think I've ever seen a team look so good in game 1 and so bad in game 2

I'm so shocked. I thought Italy was a huge contender after that first game. Really scary precision. But now, Costa Rica takes em? Thats crazy.

Italy can still win the thing... I never viewed them as a favorite... but if they get to the knockouts they still have the quality to make a real run.

Costa Rica is a very solid team that is hopefully now up for some much deserved respect.

Costa Rica might be that good. They gave us fits during qualifying. We were lucky to get them in the snow bowl in Colorado.

Just think... The Swiss were one of the "seeded" teams in FIFA's stupid ranking system. They got seeded instead of the Netherlands, Italy, and France... Stupid system.

I guess what I mean is that they may not play totally aggressive and hope to get a counter goal. But a loss completely ends their chances.

Its crazy to see whole city here completely shut down for the Argentina game. It isn't till 1 but nothing opens and cross fit classes are canceled, people stay home. Its insane.
