Updated with August's commits (Spindler, Kolie, Schweitzer)

Currently sitting 13th nationally, average rating of .9045 is good for 11th best in nation.

Who's Next? Deion Colzie rejoins on 9/28.

That would be 19 commits. 247 lists our top targets uncommitted as Donovan Edwards, Dont'e Thornton, Ceyair Wright, Deion Colzie, Jayden Thomas, and Titus Mokiao-Atimalala.

Edwards and Wright seem like long shots.

With Colzie jumping back on, where does that leave ND as far as numbers and need?

TMA is a take because of position flexibility? Do we need one of Thornton/Thomas with Styles Jr. also having flexibility?

It's funny that we are talking about some schools not pressing for Colzie, because we could be in a similarly good position for Thornton if we keep him as a priority. Oregon already has a good and deep WR class. I would take TMA as a safety while knowing he could play WR if we absolutely need him to. I would pass on Thomas. Don't think he offers anything that we couldn't easily get in another class, and we don't need numbers at the position right now.

I know I don't post much, but from what I have heard Thomas is a lock. Colzie is trending our way at the moment. Additionally, be looking out for a 2022 commit within the next month.

Has anyone heard anything about other targets or flip candidates? Assuming ND lands Colzie, Thomas, and MTA do they just go all in on Thornton and that's it? Do they try and flip someone or go for Donovan Edwards? Do they just fully transition to 2022?

Indy DB Theran Johnson (NW commit) is being evaluated by the staff. Both Rivals and 247 have commented on our interest. He’s a very under appreciated prospect. Kid could be a steal.

Pure corner or just a DB?

Update: Just watched his junior film and he plays a lot of field corner, but I think he could play free safety very easily. Great ball skills and instincts.

Plays for North Central who plays in the MIC which is historically one of the best HS conferences in the country so he's playing against decent competition.

I was wondering about Edwards and Michigan. They just picked up a commit from Tavierre Dunlap (composite 22nd best RB). All of Edwards' crystal balls for UM are a 6 at the highest. Not sure if it means anything or if they are going for more than one, but it seems like Edwards is a little quiet when it comes to his recruiting.

TIFWIW, Wasserman's national recruiting article on the Athletic talked about this today. But the other teams he listed to watch down the stretch didn't include ND: MSU, UGA, OU.

Historically yes, but outside of Center Grove the MIC looks to be down this year.

CG is ranked #1 in the state, North Central #3 (that might be their highest ranking ever) then have to go all the way to #7 to see another MIC team in 1 loss Lawrence North.

Traditional MIC powers Ben Davis and Warren Central this year are both not very good.

Offered this evening. Sounds like this could be a flip.

Four more? Johnson, Thomas, Colzie, and TMA?

Seems like one more than expected class size. But predicting class size is always a guessing game.

Does the Johnson offer mean we're not going after any of the others? I haven't seen any indications to that effect.

Wondering if it is a push to get MTA to commit? Meaning this kid is the MTA back up plan. Just a guess.

Currently at 17 with Riley falling off.

Expectations to land Colzie (again), Thomas, and Johnson.

I will go with Colzie next on the 28th.

Colzie .9633 - Styles Jr .9511 - Jayden Thomas .9065

That has to be the best WR trio brought in during BK right?

Thought for sure this was hyperbole, but I went back and checked on 247, and 2008 is arguable, but otherwise the best year they have stats for

I might go 2013. Fuller, Hunter, and Robinson are pretty damn solid. This class has the opportunity to surpass that.

That class has the luxury of hindsight. They weren't ranked remotely as high as the current three, right? Pretty sure Fuller and Robinson were 3-stars and I wanna say Hunter was a 3/4-star depending on the site. Not even close. We'll see how these three pan out, but on paper, recruiting wise, it blows that class outta the water.
