i got a text into rios..so i will know in a lil...although he said about 2hrs ago when i texted if there was any sway on his part..he just texted back..."they are very aggressive" so i said stop teasing me and just tell me whats up..so we shall see

im not sure what to make of it now....i mean literally just the other day when he was chatting w/ armstead and shaq i was teasing him saying back off...and he was just like..i am hustling hard to help them bring in a top class..bruin all the way etc...and now i only get they are being aggressive...but this happened a couple weeks ago when darby de-commited and he said he was 100% commited to ucla even when ND turned up the heat on his recruitment...so i am not sure what to think

Logically speaking it's most likely one of the following two scenarios:

1. A WR like Carroo, Payton, Treggs, etc. who now wants to come to ND because of changes at their destination school... or another WR I'm not thinking of right now that ND has maybe been working on under the radar... would explain why Andrades was also.

2. The surprise is an OL which is why we told Decker, more or less, to pound salt when he called saying he wanted to visit OSU to "make sure." There's been a very strongly substantiated rumor floating around for awhile now that after he said he was "100% committed" to Martin... and then called the staff to say he wanted to visit OSU immediately after receiving his offer that the staff told him to get lost. This makes more sense if you think there might be another OL recruit on the way.

If they said they f'ed up, they'd be lying. The staff did what they had to do. They were going after bigger fish than Rios. Maybe they missed, but you don't settle for plan B or C until plan A fails completely.

- I could see the Armstead, but I think we have a 1 in "how many every schools are involved" chance. I think its anyone's guess.
- If Agholor was going to be repelled by USC it would have happened by now. He'll be a Trojan, IMHO.
- I don't see us landing Neal, although there is nothing that has us excluded at this point.
- I wish we would get in on a last minute linemen, but I know that just doesn't happen.
