Which Non-ND verbals can they ultimately steal?

I feel like these major program coaching changes are almost too good to be true. These changes could put Notre Dame on a quicker track to future success if they can scoop up decommitted players. It all couldnt have happened at a better time. I keep seeing alot of recruiting profile threads of those who are committed to other schools popping up. Some of them say that ND is talking with them and that these recruits have re-opened up their options.

I feel like with ND riding the huge momentum of the final 4 games that this could end up making an already good class outstanding if a few of these kids who are still on the fence choose ND. Am I right?

Can you take these players who are on the fence/committed to other schools and rank them in the liklihood that you think they ultimately end up with ND? Or is it all vapors...

I guess a scale of 1-10 will work for the purpose of my question.

We're going to get Carlisle. We may also get Hounshell if we have room. I guess we have outside shots at Fisher and Chikillo but I really expect them to stay in state and at their schools when the dust settles.

We have room. It's a matter of how hard the players' respective schools recruit the remaining recruits.

Weis and Golden are visiting Hounshell next week.

Realistically, we have 19 recruits and have very legit shots at Carlisle, Williams, Haynes, Niklas, and Scarlett. I think we get 4 of them. That's 23 recruits.... would you really take Hounshell over some of our 5th year guys? I wouldn't.

Haven't seen much mention of Ishaq.....just curious if it's because we are considering that a done deal with him? Or...? I try to keep up on recruiting, but I really just have a tough time with it, so I thought I'd ask.

We should know in two days unless something funny happens.

I believe that we might still be in play for flipping Zach Martin's brother.

I do and I don't. I mean, he's alumni. He's alumni shunned... I think he'll have great inner conflict once all of his recruits from ND are gone. And then the Sith Lord will work hard to find young Darths...

1. Carlisle
2. Hounshell

I don't know if we can get anyone else from Michigan, especially if Harbaugh were to get the job, which they're saying is un-likely, but could you imagine Harbaugh being able to use the recruiting lure of Michigan.

You think that Weis will negatively recruit against Notre Dame in an unethical way?

I don't. I think he has his recruiting process set in stone, and it has produced results for him. the negative recruiting was from the previous regime at FLA. I dont remember hearing stories of Weis and negative recruiting while he was at ND, so why would he go away from what has proven results for him?

Jacob Fisher and Amir Carlisle are good shots to flip for ND in my opinion. Amir looks to be our best shot with Harbaugh all but gone.

Nobody was talking about Ishaq because he is not committed anywhere at this time.

Chickillo will be the hardest pull but after what I saw last night, I would be there everyday knocking that kids door down. UX MVP with Clowney on the other side? Im sold. Kids a monster.

Carlisle is about it IMO

The way we ended the year was great and helped solidify our commits while giving those who are interested in us (Ishaq, Carlisle, Huggins) a better idea of what may happen, but it isn't gonna make someone like Ray Drew or Clowney think about us.
