Was that kid that is on campus considering a Notre Dame offer prior to committing to his current school?

If you and your boy Turning Point know who this kid is, why cant you just tell us? If he is on campus, somebody is going to notice it.

So to clarify... this rumored transfer would:

- Not have to sit out next year
- Be a skill position
- Not a QB
- Not Omar Hunter

If I remember from about 700 pages ago, he's a "skilled" player, not necessarily a "skill" player. He is NOT A QB. And I believe we just started speculating he won't have to sit out a year-- because a player coming on board in '13 doesn't get people excited NOW.

And I think he must be wearing one of those new invisible cloaks.

Didn't C. Thomas Howell go to Marquette in Side out? So it could be him, because he left early to go play beach volleyball with the dude with the mullett. So he's got a year of eligibility left.

Apparently its supposed to be kept quiet. It will come out when its time for that. ISD sat on giving any update until every other site had something about it. The kid is on campus this weekend and it is expected to get worked out. Just be patient, no one is trying to keep info from anyone for the sake of doing it.

Thread is still hilarious even after a good night's sleep. If there's any truth to the BS being slung around at all, the mystery player, it seems, would have to have a degree in hand and be headed to ND grad school. [to be as legend has it available immediately].

I could just as easily see this as one of those "urban legend" type snowballing stories, where the nugget was the visitation of a coaching candidate that everyone really wanted to keep hush-hush for obvious reasons.

Well, let's sit back and enjoy the ride. The only reason that I could see in making a one-year transfer [of immediate impact] useful to us, is that we are quite low on scholarship availability next recruiting season. .... maybe Luke Kuechly really would like to play for ND one year beside Manti. ......
