I asked last night and never got a straight answer. Is there an expected time for an announcement?

According to ISD, it will probably all be it in the open once the kid leaves campus. It has been kept quiet by the services because that's what everyone involved wanted.

Wooley25/anyone else--- My "wow some of these names" comments wasn't meant as a shot in any means. Just look at the thread and look how many names have popped up lol. It ridiculous that a fanbase can have such a great following in recruiting and be able to remember kids from 1-3 years ago.

As far as me spilling the beans....I heard a name early thursday night that would be on campus this weekend. Then all of friday the same name was thrown out there. Late friday night that named changed to someone else. I would highly doubt there are two transfers in the bend, let alone any other school. As of this morning I know who it is but clearly that name cannot be out there. If the pay sites aren't going to report it there is a fairly good reason. Whether it be that kids specific reasoning, other schools, or ncaa, it has been on lock. You can say its mystery but as I have stated before I do not want to steal a young individuals thunder and have his announcement not mean as much bc the news broke on the internet before he could announce. I don't claim to be a "insider" you should go to GB if you want inside info.

i think him and his friend are trying to throw people off, i know Ruth Chris Steakhouse is where alot of the Recruits for ND ended up going for dinner when they visited, so he's out of town and was at Ruth Chris Steakhouse (maybe)? why would Ruth Chris be brought up then talk about ordering it online? lol

Guys just relax. It will be known when its time. No one is going to say the name if they know. The kid or coaching staff has requested that it stays quiet for whatever reason and that isn't good enough for anyone.

Pretty sure it would be an NCAA violation for ND to take a kid to Ruth's Chris while he is still on scholarship at another school. If he wanted to pony up the dough and do it all himself....that's another matter.

It would be an official visit recruiting trip. It shouldn't be any different than any other player coming for an official. If the NCAA allows Notre Dame to fly him out and house him, surely they are allowed to feed him.

get your list of names out.
call the morris inn, doubltree-sb marriott in short any and all of the hotels in south bend
ask receptionist "hello can i have Mr Butler please" or "can i have mr barr please"
the one you get connected to their hotel room is the secret transfer commit.

Does Butler have his degree from U$C, thus giving him eligibility this year? Barr, if it were him, would need to sit out a year correct? And, I've seen Barr's recruit profile listed as Ath, what position did he play at UCLA?
