You are right an awful lot of the time though.

im always right.
Jonesing?
i wasn't being serious. was just pumped about JJ.
So, what's left to be right about?
A conundrum wrapped in an enigma....
Im sure this is the wrong place for this question and for that I apologize, but what is with the huge difference between Scout and Rivals when it comes to our commits. We have four 5* with Scout and none with Rivals? I understand they are different services but it just seems like a big difference, or is it not that big of a deal?
to their top 50 recruits and Rivals only has about half that number.Im sure this is the wrong place for this question and for that I apologize, but what is with the huge difference between Scout and Rivals when it comes to our commits. ratings. It's misleading, because a 5
on Rivals, 247, or ESPN generally indicates a truly elite talent, whereas on Scout it just means "we like this kid a lot".Oh ok thanks guys.. I know all these kids are unproven talents at the college level but it just seems to me we have a much more talented comitts then say Michigan but because they have quantity they are ranked much higher. That makes no sense to me. But what the hell do I know.
/low 4
because he is white. If he has a different skin color and runs a 40 as fast as he did laser timed while being that size he's a 4
/5
. Who knows if he'll end up being a great safety, but the dude has the athletic traits to be an All-American if he develops correctly... or total bust if he doesn't we just don't know.
players don't have nearly the upside of the guys I just mentioned above. This is a generalization, but really when I look at Michigan's I think "wow, this could end up being an amazing class, but it's not there yet." Add Diamond, Payton and Darboh to what they've got and it's a completely different story.Cop, the other reason to be high on this class are guys like Okwara, Perkins and Baratti. All of those guys have tremendous upside but are largely unproven.
Baratti is a tremendous athlete who is only 3/low 4

Okwara is freaking 16 years old. As long as this sin't some Freddy Adu thing where he's actually like 23 but listed at 16, you have to think he has tremendous upside to develop and get bigger, stronger, and more explosive.
Perkins has all of the athletic traits you could ever want and is about the size of Darius Fleming. He could develop into a great OLB, but right now he is a total tweener that is still learning how to play RB and DE.
Michigan's class right now has some very, very good players. They also have some very good depth pieces. But most of their 3players don't have nearly the upside of the guys I just mentioned above. This is a generalization, but really when I look at Michigan's I think "wow, this could end up being an amazing class, but it's not there yet." because he's white, he's a 3
because no one has seen him play safety yet.He's not a 3because he's white, he's a 3

Basing a ranking off of a 40 time and vertical doesn't make sense when a guy is moving from QB to Safety.
Otherwise, I agree with your comments
ATH, regardless of where might project at the next level. He's not a 3because he's white, he's a 3

The just rank him as an ATH. Lax has a point; a black kid with his measurables would surely be a 4ATH, regardless of where might project at the next level.

idk about the race being a factor....prime example-Cam
We're talking measurables (40, vertical, shuttle, bench, height, weight). What did Cam have there that would lead you to believe he should be a 4 star?
