Yes I think so, and I think Philly and I are on the same page. Now I wouldn't be shocked if it's during this trip but if not this trip than when he visits us for the scUM game.

I think we land Anzalone and Mattingly in the next couple of weeks because those guys seem to favor us and they'll want to make sure they get 1 of the 4 LB spots.

Smith really changes the overall dynamic so who knows who comes after that, but my guess would be that Rochelle pops before Michigan as well. He seems all ND and someone will probably convince him that (a) it will be better for the class if he commits early, and (b) Michigan might not even let him come if he thinks he is 100% ND (at least I would be hesitant).

Another possibility is the two NY kids pop next week!

Right. Supposedly they want to play together, so if they both have a good time on their visit I can see them popping. Notre Dame's brand is probably strongest, overall, in Chicago, Boston, and NY where college football is not nearly as big. I think we should treat those cities, and Indiana, as our "backyard.",

I ask this...Say that Jaylon stayed with his "August" timeline and at the end of June we added no new commitments but guys like Mattingly, Anzalone, Ebenezer who'll come our say we lead would you still consider June to be a good month?

I ask because we DID add Jaylon, and none of the other recruits have set a timeline or mentioned us as clear leader(sans Rochell).

So...with the addition of Jaylon and those mentioned above loving there visit and gushing about the Irish would qualify June as a damn good month in my book.

If we add more this month kicka$$, but if a few come out loving ND one would be likely to pop in July and that is just fine by me as well.

I'm pretty Mattingly has said we lead or something along those lines but yeah. If these June visits equate to us being leaders and the kids are 'gushing' about ND afterwards a la Rochell after his first visit, I would consider it a success. Not as successful as I think it will be, but a success none the less.
