I was able to cheer for USC for SOS after we shellacked them but it is hard to pull for them as it goes against my natural tendencies. I would like to see us in the Citrus Bowl .

same for Stanford over USC

Same for UGA over Auburn

Same for TCU over OK

Same for OSU over Wisc

I'd love to see UCF beat Memphis by 100 pts, still miss the CFP, and complain for the next decade.


And most of all.... for Saban to miss the CFPs...

So we stomped the PAC12 conf champion by 35, lost to the PAC12 runner up on the road by 18, Lost by one to the SEC conf champion, and got throttled by the ACC champ or runner up.

Edit/add - and we beat two third place teams (MSU and NCS)....

Had we not got spanked in the two losses, I'd be really happy now with three losses.

Just give ND someone we can beat in the bowls please.

Stupid QB mistake aside, OSU is looking phenomenal right now. They're trying to blow out Wisconsin and make a case. I wouldn't mind catching Wisconsin in a bowl game--- they're probably the highest ranked team we'd have a shot against.

Wisky's just flat out getting exposed as the paper tiger most of us thought they were. This is why "But we're undefeated" or "But we won our conference/division" don't tell the whole story when trying to decide who should be in the playoffs.

I mostly agree with you. Every team can just have an off day and look worse than they really are. I don't think Wisconsin is a horrible team. I just don't think they were ever a legitimate top 5 team. I think all of the current top 10 teams would beat them more often than not.
