Everyone has been buried and all the news channels are gone. The flag should be down by the end of the month. And barring any issues with the scheduled "Heritage not Hate" Flag Rally by the KKK at the State house, I assume everything will return to normal.

This was a business decision I assume. I don't recall anyone picketing them or Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc to stop selling it, they chose to do it as a business decision based on what they perceive to be market pressure?

It might be knee jerk for sure..... but lets recap... no matter what your romantic notions of watching this show are, its still a show with an all-white cast driving a race car tatted with arguably the most recognizable sign of human oppresion in history regardless if their hijinks are cheeky. And its fresh in everyone's mind so when they see that car on TVLand they are not romanticizing it anymore I would bet.

Well it's working I think. Driving thru Mayberry last evening, I watched four pick up trucks driving thru town in a line. The front and the rear truck proudly displaying their confederate flags in the wind. I can't even remember seeing a confederate flag around here. Though I'm sure there have been, just don't remember it being so publicly displayed around here.

These were kids, I'm sure they were just all caught in our Civil War history on the 4th of July.......

I think the whole thing is stupid.

A black radio show host around here was talking about it and said while it was a harmless show about rednecks having fun and breaking the law and outrunning police he wasn't exactly sure what was in their hearts, referring to the Duke boys.

I was like.. It was a TV show man. Come on.

don't forget, asses are offended by elephants and vice versa. I personally don't like either. More of a cougar fan.
