If you are gonna do RDR2 as a casual gamer you probably need a good 2-3 months I think

RDR2 also gets my vote. If you're not planning on doing everything I don't think you'll need 2-3 months, but it just depends on how busy the wife and kids keep ya. You could skip a lot of camp upgrades and just knock out the missions in short order.
If I enjoy a game even a little bit, it becomes a quest for 100% completion, so I may end up playing RDR2 for a year based on what I know lol. I know the hunting challenges can be brutal, and it's a massive game in general. But if the trophy hunt involves multiplayer for the base platinum, though, I'll drop it once the story is over. I loathe multiplayer tie-in trophies that are necessary for a platinum. Could never get my platinum on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag because of stupid multiplayer trophies, same with NCAA14. Some dumb online dynasty trophies related to the dynasty website that you could use to do recruiting and other non-game related tasks, but I didn't pay attention to the trophy list when the IE dynasty was going strong, and now the servers for the dynasty website are dead, so no chance at getting it anymore.
I'm on the dad gaming schedule, so it's usually an hour or two at night, mayyyyybe three if I'm not dead tired, after the rest of the household is asleep, and then a little bit of extra time on the weekends if I'm caught up on house projects.
