You're in no position to cast stones, Mousekatool.

Round 2 with the Botchling on TW3. I've come close, but yet so far.

I can survive through the weird-witches coming, but then the botchling regenerates its healthy constantly, and I have no idea how to prevent that.

Just read back and sounds like I need to use the AXII to avoid his spike - but does that also prevent him from constant regeneration of health? If not, what's the trick?

Dude, why did you take the option to fight it? There was an option tree correct?

Yes, but I went that route and you end up having to fight it ~3 minutes later anyway. If there's a way I can avoid that rotten piece of hell I will.

I don't remember fighting it... just carrying it to it's resting place, but maybe I'm just forgetting. I also don't remember having any trouble with that quest. Aard it, whirl at it and then dodge and use your potions man,... you should be able to get it.

The Baron takes you out into the yard, and you find the empty grave. The botchling crawls into view, and you're given a timed choice to either fight it or turn it into a lubberkin. The latter choice is the moral one, and the easier one, so choose it.

Baron picks the botchling up and starts carrying it back to the fort. When it starts wiggling, cast Axii on it to calm it. Wraiths will spawn and attack you about halfway there, but that's a much easier fight than the botchling itself. As long as you're calming it with Axii, you shouldn't have to fight it going the lubberkin route.

Good luck.

So work is dead but I have a meeting this afternoon so I can't leave... I've spent the last two hours watching Super Mario speed runs and competitive Tetris.

Whiskey, you are a F'n animal. I have no idea how you're an attorney, husband, Father, and video game condenseur with such great insight and advice (not to mention a pro-bono NDA consultant).

Cheers to you my friend.

Watch Pokemon Blue/Red speedruns.

The ones where they use only Nidoran and an HM slave to beat the whole game in a legitimate way are fun and surprisingly fast, but there are also some glitched runs that are interesting and way faster.

It's hilarious to see the ways in which you can hack an old Gameboy game if you find a way to alter the code via game commands.

I'm looking to get a neon yellow and gray joycon but I don't want to buy two two-packs, anybody interested in going 50/50 with me?

They're regular $80, on sale for $70, and an extra 20% off.

Final bump since folks were away for Easter and then I'll drop it.

Selling one Neon Yellow Joy-Con and one Gray Joy-Con for $60 plus shipping. Both are brand new.

TW3:

I'm trying to pay Captain Wolverstone $1,000 "crowns" to get him to take me to Skellige.

How do I obtain that many crowns? I have 667 coins (not crowns), so even if it were coins I'd be short.

Play other missions, sell your swag you've collected and no longer need, witcher contracts and most of all go here:

https://witcher.fandom.com/wiki/Vivaldi_Bank

You are prob carrying a bunch of other currency you can exchange.

"Crowns" are the main currency in the game. Since it currently says you're worth 667, that's how many crowns you have. Other types of currency have to be exchanged into crowns at the bank.

Most of your money earned will come from selling stuff you've picked up. Start with the weapons and armor in your inventory. If it's not an upgrade over what you're currently using, and it's not a crafted piece of Witcher gear you plan on upgrading later (which should be stashed anyway), then you should sell it ASAP. They're heavy, weigh you down, and generally sell for a lot. I only use Svarog Runestones, and sell all the rest. I only use Quen glyphs, and sell all the rest. You should always carry at least a few weapon repair kits with you, but you don't need 20+. Sell those down to 5. The smiths in the center of Novigrad will give you good prices.

Try to keep crafting materials like gems and rare metals. But there's no need to hold onto tons of herbs. Take a look at what you need to upgrade your current bombs and potions, and sell most everything else (to an Alchemist).

That should be more than enough to get you to 1000 crowns. And you can get it all back from the Captain once you arrive, so don't worry too much about the cost.

I'm playing some Fallout: New Vegas

Good man. Best Fallout that Bethesda has released...probably because they had little to do with it.

I finally got my buddies to drop Fallout 76. We gave it a good 6 months, hoping that they'd fix the game and make it worthwhile. It was everything I expected it to be unfortunately, and I'm not sure they can really make that game work at this point.

We're currently playing Conan Exiles (Free Playstation Plus game this month) and I'm managing the private server we're on. We'll probably do this for awhile till something else comes up. If anyone wants in, there's plenty of slots in the server and it's a persistent world. Send me a PM and I'll float you the connection details.
