No word on any kind of deluxe edition or preorder bonus, huh? I'll definitely want the DLC for this and I'd like to buy it in a premium version of the game itself so I get my discount.

Bought RRD1 right when it came out. Really enjoyed it. Beat it in like a week which is way too quick to beat one of these games. It's like watching 5 seasons of GOT in a week. Your mind can't gather that much information in such a short span.

Really got upset that I traded it in two weeks after I beat it, when I heard they added multiplayer and more story lines about 6 months later.

Super excited and will buy this game. Just in time for season 2 of Westworld!

You guys are really making me miss gaming. I love story-mode games. The Metal Gear series was my favorite. Never really got into GTA, but played a couple hours of Red Redemption and thought it was fun. But the character development you guys are debating sounds awesome.
Get an Xbox ya poor.

the multi player on RDR was really fun, the targeting help on consoles makes it pretty easy to wrack up kills though

SNES Classic sold out literally everywhere in the Greater Cincinnati area already.

I just don't understand Nintendo lol. Imagine all the dudes out there prepared to give Nintendo $60 (like me), and yet they can't. IT DON'T MAKE NO SENSE.

It plays exactly like last year's... I also noticed they took a ton of the classic kits in the catalogue out... only Chelsea, Bayern psg and athletico have classic kits now... that sucks

Thinking about grabbing FIFA, but I'm a sucker for franchise/dynasty/manager modes, moreso than ultimate team and online stuff.

I don't know enough about soccer at large to justify committing a bunch of my free time to FUT, and the same concern holds true for if I bought it to play manager mode. I tried three years ago, but I felt like I was thrown into the deep end without swimming lessons. Had no idea what I was doing in terms of trying to run the scouting stuff, participate in transfers, and just overall build a roster.

The one thing I COULD do now is play manager mode with a good idea of which team I could start out with and in which league, with intention of improving them and winning some matches as I figure out what I'm doing. I tried manager mode with an MLS team last time I had the game (LOL @ me), but now that I understand the structure of soccer around the world, I could at least pick a fun/challenging situation now.

The idea of playing the game in general intrigues me, now that I know a little bit about the sport and the general strategies at play. I'd like to test my skills and application of real-life knowledge the same way I do with Madden or NCAA14. But the lack of experience in their manager mode, and the depth of scouting that I know I'll struggle with, give me pause.

It boils down to whether the price tag is worth getting the game, just to play some online matches for fun here and there.

Based on your interests, why not just buy an old FIFA for dirt cheap?

Because I'm a snob, and I'd be kind of annoyed every time I play an online match knowing it's not the latest edition of the game.

*Before I sound like a douche, I have no problem buying and playing older games purely for entertainment. I've got a decent stockpile of PS3 games still on the shelf waiting for a rainy day, all bought on the cheap from Amazon well after their runs of popularity. I don't need all the bells and whistles involved with things that are brand new. But the knowledge that I'm "behind the curve" and playing an older version of an annual release would bug me if I'm trying to play competitive matches online.

I'd hack the classic day one, download everything, including the game genie hack and roll with Super Castlevania
