Haven't opened it, but I've read 5 ft HDMI and 5 ft controllers.

I'm a bit irritated that I'm going to have to dig up my Samsung remote. I run all of my apps and my Xfinity through the Xbox (including voice commands via Kinect), but this is going to require me to actually change inputs. The firstworldiest of problems.

Do you even intellectual property bro? Piracy is #ForThePoors.

A half mb of memory of a 20+ year old property that I've purchased in several forms already that isn't even enforced by Nintendo anymore? Plus I can play them on my phone? Plus I can play them on my computer at resolutions far exceeding any prior release?

If that's for the poors I don't want to be rich.

I've discussed my distaste for gaming on a computer screen before. My computer is in my office, where I go when I need to close the door and be productive. I like to game in the living room where I can be a part of the flow of the house.

Anyway, back to Red Dead. One of my biggest wishlist items would be some kind of inventory / crafting system. I saw some speculation that there might be cooking and I'd really like to be able to customize outfits and equipment. Example: Kill and skin buffalo. Craft buffalo saddle that grants your mount +10% stamina or some such.

Okay, FIFA 18 has a much different midfield battle and defensive AI engine... more challenging... movement is more realistic now that I've played a few... if you over run the ball it's lost, it takes more time to stop your momentum and reverse.

You may have just sold me. Way too easy on 17.

Lmao, this conversation started with Hammer ripping me for spending $80 for a piece of hardware when I could get emulators and ROMs for free... and then play them on a $2,000 gaming laptop.

I admit that I prefer consoles to emulators myself. I mean, I've still got every Nintendo system from NES to Wii, and the NES collection of carts is over 600...but I do still play on emulators from time to time. You should get over the PC phobia. You say the Den is where you retire to be productive....why can't you also be productive in gaming? I find it hard playing a game when the kids are going bonkers downstairs around me.

It's not a den, it's an office. I sit for eight ours a day at a desk with a mouse and keyboard in hand, spending my leisure time in the same way has zero appeal. The only exception would be something that requires point-and-click like RTS.

Oh it turns out that I suck at the old games too, not just the new ones. I'm trash at Mega Man.

Mega Man X is a top five game of all time for me. Start with Chill Penguin and get your dash. Makes everything else easy.

I did and I still suck ha. I can't get the timing of jumps down to avoid attacks. That plus getting used to which button is jump and which is shoot very much makes me terrible.

Where did I rip on you? You're the one who ripped on emulation. It's fine if it doesn't fit your particular use profile. But most of your worries: price, a large tower, ease of use, needing to sit at a desk, not being compatible with a TV are either personal choices that your not interested in dealing with or just aren't true for the use we're discussing. Shit, a teeny tiny dirt cheap raspberry pi could run every nes and snes game in existence along with a ton of other stuff.

I'm with wiz, I dislike emulators and PC gaming.

In hammer's defense, Nintendo hasn't done much to effectively meet demand for its officially licensed IP. I would happily have paid $80 for an SNES Classic this morning, but every store within 20 miles of me sold out almost immediately. Would be cheaper and easier for me to build a simple Raspberry Pi emulator with all my favorite classics than to hunt down and purchase their newly released hardware.

I need them to fix what players are willing to do as well.

Im in year 4 on my current manager mode...and Man Utd have Dybala, Griezmann, Lacazette, Kane, Rashford, and...i think they just sold Martial but you get the point. Like wtf.

So I saw a rumor that the SNES classic has the game genie on it without even hacking... can anyone confirm??
