What video game are you playing?

Easily the best title in the series. I preferred the ACR for large maps (no recoil gave a huge advantage at range), the TAR-21 for small maps (SMG-like damage output up close, and can still burst effectively at midrange), and the UMP45 whenever a suppressor was necessary (only gun in the game that could still kill in 3 shots from range with a suppressor).

In Destiny, the gear only matters in the Iron Banner mode. In the normal crucible the armor is all the same no matter what you have equipped.

Yeah i can see where that is confusing. Because in Destiny you dont "unlock guns" by playing crucible. You can get engram drops at the end of a round. But, I will say, some of the best crucible guns are just normal blue weapons. The best exotic guns in the game are more for PVE are horrible in the PVP crucible.

Yea I think it was just frustration on my part that they weren't telling me what was out there so eventually I stopped. I started playing the game about 2 months late as well and all of my friends were on from day one, so they were telling me all of the stuff they had and laughing at the things I had.

ACR with silencer and extended clip, or an ACOG scope on certain maps was unstoppable for me.

Never was much of an SMG guy. If I wasn't using an ACR, I was using the Dragunov with a thermal scope on certain maps. Sit in a corner, hit two targets, move to opposite corner, hit two targets again when they go to your original position to look for you. Rinse, repeat, get predator missile, get AC-130, pray for enough ammo to get Tactical Nuke, ???, profit.

(A really weird combo that I loved was an AK with extended grip and thermal scope. Impractical, but I loved it.)

Assuming your aim was decent, the total lack of recoil easily made it the best gun in the game.

Doubt it. FAL loses to all SMGs and the TAR-21 up close, and to all sniper rifles and the ACR from distance. Its high damage makes it a solid midrange option, but there are few scenarios where it's not outclassed by another gun.

Anybody playing Overwatch on PS4? I'm terrible but it's really addicting. I'd like to get a team going if possible because teamwork is really necessary.

Wish I had a gaming PC. I've got several buddies who are loving it on Steam, but I've only got a PS4, so I wouldn't be able to play against any of them.

On CODMOD1 I found the M60 with ACOG mount to be pretty unstoppable as well.

Man back in the day, I would just run and gun on Favela all day with double model 1887 shotguns. Use the lightweight perk, and i would just fly by people, and the map was so compressed that i could zig zag away from anyone that tried to come at me from behind or the side. That was my shyt back in the day.

I just went back and looked at the multiplayer maps fro MW2. There were just so many great maps. Karachi, Terminal, Highrise. SO MANY GOOD MAPS. Nothing ever came close after MW2. BOPS1 and MW3 were tolerable, but after those 2 games, everything turned to shyt. Thats why I stopped buying COD games.

My last COD game was WaW. Which was pretty fun...I liked MW1, when I actually had heard of/seen most of the guns. The COD's since then....wtf.
