Watched Beef over the weekend while it was below zero outside. I would say the first 8 episodes are great. The last two got a bit wonky plot wise. Wrapping up these shows/movies can be difficult to the point that a really good story starts jumping the shark at the tail end of everything.

It was very well done, though. Soundtrack is absolutely awesome 90s stuff from Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Tori Amos, Incubus, Collective Soul, Offspring, etc. Very surprised by the choice of music.

Rewatching Band of Brothers and I'm once again amazed at the number of notable actors in this show

Wild how good that show is. The first episode is one of my favorite episodes of any show. Sets the stage and introduces the characters perfectly. Is also just incredibly watchable for all the internal politicking surrounding the commanding structure and logistical realities of preparing for the invasion. It's almost impossible to watch that first episode and not want to watch the entire series.

Watching “1883” on Prime. The young actress playing Elsa is the narrator & her Southern accent needs some work but overall it seems like a good portrayal of that era. I‘ve read where Taylor Sheridan really does his homework on how that land was settled from the perspective of both the settlers & the Native Americans. Good stuff.

We watched the curse on showtime one the weekend. Really strange show. Has anyone else seen it?

Just wrapped up watching The Pacific for a second time. Worth running back. The last episode is outstanding.

Really enjoyed that first season, and I also really enjoyed 1923. Can't wait for season 2 of the latter.

Masters Of The Air, the Spielberg/Hanks WWII series dropped its first two episodes on Saturday. Not sure how it will measure up to the earlier Band Of Brothers and The Pacific, but I'm hoping for the best and the first two episodes were very good.

Watched S1 of The Tourist over the weekend. Pretty good. Irish drug smuggler being hunted by his boss in the Australian Outback when he is in a crash and can't remember who he is, why he's there, why people are trying to kill him and the police are after him.

Masters of the air is excellent so far, reading the book it’s based on we have some pretty damn good stories to be told. It’s not as good as band of brothers but I would put it on par with the pacific. 3 episodes in I’m enjoying it a lot

Just wrapped up a 3 part series on Netflix titled Attack on Peral Harbor: Minute by Minute. Very good. Survivors and historians provide the narrative. A lot of video and pictures, many from the Japanese side.

Wasn't a huge fan of True Detective this time around.

Wasn't a huge fan of Band of Brothers or The Pacific but Masters of the Air is very high quality. I'm liking it way more than I expected.

Finished Reacher last night, definitely comes off as a little far-fetched but a very fun show packed with action.

Sopranos is up next. I've never watched but it's about damn time I got around to it.

Fargo Season 5 is taking a weirder turn that I expected. Gonna wait for Shogun to get a lot closer to their final episode before I start it, but am super excited
