Gordon Ramsey's 'Kitchen Nightmares' is pretty good... I just started watching.
Just found this piece of gold from South Bend's: J. Willy's Bar and Grille.
Have any of you been there or experienced the disgust he portrays?

Edit: I just read they closed in '09. What a damn shame.

Started the Outsider on HBO last night.

Read the book by Stephen King, it was one of his best in recent years. Solid cast with Jason Bateman and Ben Mendelsohn leading the way.

Really liked the first two episodes. Has a sort of True Detective vibe to it. Curious where it goes from here.

I really like it so far. The first couple of episodes were great in terms of building up stuff. Now that they are diving into the supernatural aspects, not sure how I will feel.

There's a tie in with Mr. Mercedes as well if you're seen the series or read the trilogy. The female PI (the one with the personality disorder) also plays a supporting role. The character is portrayed very differently between the two TV series.

Anyone like the first episode of Picard? Thought the quality was the best I've seen in the Star Trek world of series.

I finished A Young Doctor's Notebook, starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. It's an 8-episode black comedy about a young Russian doctor starting his career in the middle of nowhere Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution. Very well written and acted. English actress Margaret Clunie, who appears in the second half of the series, is seriously good looking.

Just wrapped up Bosch and well into Bloodline per YJ's suggestion. Enjoyed Bosch. Bloodline was a bit of a slow starter with too many flashbacks which got a little confusing, but it picked up after the third episode. I'll stick with it.

Agree Bloodline took some time, but it was well worth it. I actually picked up more and liked it better second time around (I rewatched S1 when S2 came out).

Have you watched Jack Ryan on Amazon. I finally finished S2. Good stuff.

The Outsider keeps getting better and better. Loving it.

I was going to wait till after The Outsider S1 finished, and then binge it all, but it sucked me in. I was trying to finish a few series before starting new ones, so put some other stuff on hold instead.

It's on my list, but not the wife's, but we'll get around to it at some point.

Must be a good Cleveland kid growing up, his dad is an Indians fan (Shown in one of the other "How to be a fan" videos). The presentation is a little dry, but he does a good job hitting all the major notes. Will Tim Brown could certainly be included in a Top 4 of ND's who's who, I would have gone George Gipp instead.

Watched the first couple episodes of Longmire, super predictable thus far but I like it well enough. Does it gain complexity or is it like a case by case show the whole way through??

We flipped out when Underwood threw Zoe in font of that train. Dude is ruthless and Clair is a dime piece amongst dimes.

It's as good as there ever was through 4 seasons. 5 & 6 are not nearly as good but still very good compared to the average binge series.

Can't believe they never had Claire seduce/blackmail Jackie into something naked and twisted. Cole bottles, a Senatorial Page, random farm animals... nothing would have surprised me.

So far, really great. If Clair dikes/farm animals out, whatever, I’m tuned.

Clair is one of those rare chicks that just gets hotter as she ages. Queen Dime.

It develops into an ongoing story and adds some complexity. The final scene was pretty clever.

I'm into S2 E4 with Bloodlines. Glad YJ recommended it. Gets more crazy as it goes on. First three episodes are a little boring, but it just keeps picking up steam.

Didn't care for the last season, but S1 is one of my fav S1s of any show. Glad you're enjoying it.

I'm doing a Homeland rewatch in prep before I binge it's last season (currently airing). S1 is so darn good.

I also checked out the new series For Life that aired last night. Very good first ep. It's a 50 Cent production I think. Not big on many standard network series, but really liked it.

Yeah S1 of Homeland is legit one of the best seasons of any show ever.

Just a super cast. Damian Lewis was phenomenal. Danes was pretty great too, but wore on me a bit in later seasons. Patinkin is awesome too. Baccarin is a dime. Hoping this last season goes off well. Wasn't all that enthused with the prior season. Wasn't bad, just didn't suck me in like the earlier ones did.

Hated it when Lewis left, but Billions is now my favorite show. Great cast there too.

I'm waiting on Hunter to start airing. Pacino plays a Nazi hunter in NY in the 70's.

Premise sounds great, but the trailer didn't grab me. Hope it's good.

I'm more pumped for Zero Zero Zero. It comes out March 6 on Amazon, but starts tomorrow across the pond if you have Kodi. It's from the makers of Gomorrah and based on Robert Saviano's novel.
