Canes is my goto for chickenI've heard nothing but good things about Cane's chicken and today I got a chance to try it. It wasn't bad, and I'd even call it good, but it didn't strike me as anything special. It certainly didn't wow me. It was just average.

I'm eating takeout at this moment from a new Thai restaurant. You can tell them how hot, on a scale of 1-10, you want your food. I like hot. I like hot a lot. I ordered the Evil Prince Rice and decided to play it safe and just tell them 7. Apparently, 7 means something completely different in Thai than in English. JFC my nose is running, my eyes are watering, my mouth is on fire and I'm afraid that when I go to the bathroom tomorrow morning I'm gonna cry like a baby. It tastes great, but it's seriously hot.
LOL - When I was working in Charlotte I had a Thai place that I always took vendors to when they were in town. I always ordered 7 on the spice scale. Of course many of the vendors would follow my lead because they like "spicy" food. I had a lot of mad vendors back in the day...I'm eating takeout at this moment from a new Thai restaurant. What restaurant in Charlotte? I have yet to find any spicy Thai food here. 1 Indian restaurant got me once but that was fluke for them because usually I have to spice up the dishes myself.LOL - When I was working in Charlotte I had a Thai place that I always took vendors to when they were in town. I'm still friends with a couple of those guys and one of them was coming to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. He wanted to get together for dinner; said I could pick the place as long as it wasn't Thai food.
Bonzai Thai in South Charlotte. It's off Steele Creek Road over by the Premium Outlet Mall. They are closed between 2:00 and 4:30.What restaurant in Charlotte? I am one to celebrated. My mother always said I’m special. You celebrate your birthday? Huh...
Enjoy the good grub!
Pace yourself. Your birthday lasts 24 hours.Celebrating my birthday today with skirt steak tacos and pork belly chicharrones. It’s tradition that I cook for the family on my birthday. One of few things I truly enjoy. Also liquor. Much liquor. Tequila started flowing a couple hours ago.
