My man. Such a great easy drinking beer.

I got a bunch of Weinhenstephaner for the weekend... drinking a Hefe now...

I also picked up some Zombie Killer and a had some Whiskey Barrell aged Red Ale with me at checkout but it scanned at 27 dollars a bottle... I kindly told the checkout lady she could keep it...

Dark Horse Crooked Tree IPA. You IPA lovers would go nuts for this. And if you're in Marshall, stop in at Schuler's.

Got sick of my wife spending $10 a bottle for wine (but of course me spending $15 for a sixer of beer is ok), went to Trader Joe's, and got a case of Two Buck Chuck.

Saw this there for $5 a six, and figured what the hell. It isn't terrible, but it isn't great, much like married life:

I don't drink wine, so wouldn't know the difference between that or something good.

The Mrs was getting Mark West Pino bottles non-stop, so I figured the Chuck had to be on par with at least that, at a nice discount.

Last time I tried them? Yeah. Douro is what I go for when I'm going cheap though. The vast majority of cheap wines taste incredibly artificial and if you don't mind, more power to you. Especially if you get white and mix it with sparking water. But I just can't stand it.

Yeah, $2 Chuck is rough. My go to cheap wine is Bogle Essential Red for $7 from Costco.

Married life is grand... and two buck check can be decent... Tisdale Merlot is only two fifty out here... it's not award winning but it destroys other cheap reds. Just have to know what you're getting. I have had a couple of cheap wines I flushed right down the drain through the years.

I have been really enjoying the draft only release Underworld IPA from Modern Times. Probably one of the best 5 beers that I have had this year. Modern Times is killing it with hoppy beers.

Also I had Elysian Space Dust while visiting my relatives in the Pacific NW, last time I had it here in AZ I hated it but this time it was pretty decent, though not as good as I remember it being. I wonder if they are having quality control issues as they expand (they were bought by InBev a few years ago).

Good to know. She has never been particular in that regard.

PKT, Costco is a death trap. I go there to get diapers, and walk out with 5 pounds of crab legs and other shit I never should be buying. Might as well grab the wine too.

Firestone Walker Leo v Ursus.

Saw Dunkirk in 70mm. Totally worth it and very good. Oscar worthy? Idk. But important to see, I'd say.
