Just got back from a weekend in Chicago after not having been back for 3 years....wow the local craft brew scene has exploded out there. Seemed like exponentially more brewers than when I left.

I like craft beer as we all know, but there are times when I just want a Modelo or Dos Equis with a lime... something about those two beers vs all the other main market lagers and the like...

That's what I did. Modelo with a lime. They didn't have Pacifico, and I didn't want to buy a 6er of Dos Equis.

Dos Equis is prob the only beer that everyone in my close family (wife, in laws, my one uncle I'm close to, sister etc.) all enjoy... if I get any other beer someone in my family will pass on it.

It probably wasn't easy to get your hands on decent whiskey back in 1960. You had to go with what was available. We're pretty spoiled now with selection.
