Been there. Know that feeling. Italy is fantastic. Probably wrong thread .... but what was the best food you had there?

Nice. I have had that here but not there. my favorite was a lobster and mussels pomodoro while in Florence

Sounds really nice! I didn't indulge my gluttony as much as I thought, mainly because I don't care to go to restaurants by myself, but also to save a little. I'm still surprised that porchetta hasn't caught on over here. Those sandwiches are divine

It is! I think it is to two reasons... one pork belly is not something that is usually prepared by typical Americans and two ... roulades are also very rare in American cuisine. So a pork roulade wrapped in pork belly may not just lend itself to American cuisine. Anyway. Probably the wrong thread for this :)

Dragoon IPA canned 10/25/16.

Now Bell's 30th Anniversary. My final bottle. Very good. Lots of molasses, plum, caramel, milk chocolate and a little dark chocolate. I wish that they would release this every year.

Porchetta is amazing, there is a lot here in SoCal but many of them are half assed versions.

Cacio de pepe is so hard to find in LA, it is one of the dishes Italy does so amazing.
