What do you think of this batch?

Very good. All of the Enjoy By editions have been great obviously, I really liked 4.20.14. 2.14.15 is probably middle of the pack for me.

How about you?

Side note...got a couple sixers of Hopslam today. Stores around me have had waiting lists, have to be on the list to get it!

Evan Williams 1783. Pretty good for only $17 a bottle. Goes down smooth, a little burn on the end, but not unpleasant. Not overly complex but very solid for under $20.

My new favorite place got with the times and got some Stone Enjoy By 2/14, so I may give that a try tonight. Picked up some Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar too though, so I might just have to drink all six of those first.

Started with a Firestone Double Jack and now onto Urban Chesnut STLIPA. The Double Jack was awesome. STLIPA is great too.

Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Ale

Very good. I've concluded I am partial to wheat beers.

How is that? Salad and IPA don't sound so good.

.

I was a little nervous about it as well but it turned out to be very good, though not as good as the standard Sculpin. If the standard Sculpin is an A this is more B+/A-. Worth trying but not worth buying a significant amount of it.

Interesting. I'll have to give it a taste. I'm going to Slater's 50 50 in San Marcos for a burger in a bit. They'll probably have it. My girl likes fruit in her beer and i will admit to sipping on her Hacker Pschor when she's not looking. The owner of Slater's loves Sculpin and its the only craft that never leaves the rotation. After that its over to Stone in Escondido for a couple and some people watching.

Hard to beat the craft scene in SD Co.
