I got alpha king, jinx proof, Robert the bruce, pride &joy, yumyyum. Also a hipster repellant Ipa by falls city beer. Also got a Artic Panzer Wolf by three floyds. Hoptimus by the new Albanian brewing company. Also picked up a half gallon of fireball. Still have a Sucks I may drink during the second half of the scUM vs MSUcks game to represent those teams.

Well, how is it?

I'm drinking a randomly cobbled golden ratio drink.

1 1/2 oz. Gin
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. St. Germaine elderberry liqueur
Dash of Grapefruit bitters

Lost Abbey's Agave Maria. Looks like a Belgian Quad, but smells like Tequila. Tastes like a little of both. Unique beer, but I'd probably get it again if the price was right.

Bells Venus. I'm a sucker for these new Bells products they're introducing but I should've known this wouldn't be my favorite as someone who is not a fan of blonde ales. Apricot, honey, cardamom, and vanilla beans... just not for me.

Ovila Quad. Pretty good. Has a unique chocolate note that I've found in few other Belgians (Maudite is the one that comes to mind.) There are many Quads with a higher QPR, though, so I probably won't be buying this again.

I had it years ago and thought it was eh, still feel that way, it's like a dark lager with a hint of pumpkin, no spice at all beyond that...

Unfortunately witches hair was one of the worst beers I've ever tasted... Lots of citrus, lots of floral and an odd hint of pumpkin and spice... It just didn't mess at all... Drinking smashed pumpkin now, always thought it an average pumpkin ale...

Wish I could find some Shipyard Pumpkin Head, always been my fav pumpkin beer, light, cinnamon heavy and pumpkin... Great beer imo.

At our large family fall get together all the kids carve pumpkins and eat a bunch of unhealthy food. I had a good time drinking some shock top pumpkin wheat.

Now home chillin with some knob creek single barrel .

Just moved to Austin, Texas so I asked the bartender for suggestions from her Texan beers. From the four she selected, I've had:

Live Oak Hefe-Weizen. Amazing.

I'm onto Blood and Honey now. A wheat ale I think? Pretty great also.
