Sorry about those wasted years bud.

Yeah, I screwed that one up pretty bad. I didn't even eat eggs until law school, so I've been down this road before. I had weird food hangups when I was younger that mostly had to do with texture. Live and learn.

Nice beer Wooly, though with the weather you are having you really need a good stout, or a really good peated scotch.

Never been much of a stout drinker. Don't hate 'em, but just never my go to. I always like 2hearted because of its hop and that it makes me think of the UP. Which is what WNY feels like right now. It is never going to stop snowing.

I would dip into a nice peated scotch, but I don't have any on hand (got a couple bourbons though) and I am done going out into this weather tonight. ha.

It took me 30 years on earth to try egg nog. We have snow tonight, so I decided to take the plunge. I am happy to report that bourbon and egg nog were made for each other.

Way back when I was no more than seven (1959) I inadvertently picked up an "adult" egg nog at a community Christmas gathering. Thus my road to perdition was begun.

Being Irish it was more a rite of passage, right up there with First Communion.

Lagunitas DayTime Ale, "A Fractional IPA"

Basically a really good Session IPA (i.e., low alcohol content at 4.65%). Lots of bright citrus flavor up front and it doesn't finish as watery as some of the low point IPAs.

Very pleased with this beer.

Carbonation was not really a issue. Could see myself drinking that regularly. Something about that almost coffee finish

For someone that doesn't drink soda/carbonated drinks (meaning not used to them)... that beer is way too much... it doesn’t burn my throat like a Coke would, but it’s still all I get from it… strikes me as THE carbonation beer.

But like I said, my boy loves it... so to each their own.

Very old Barton 100. I dare you to find a better value in this galaxy.

Like a bowl of banana pudding riding a dolphin that was smoked in oak and vanilla wood chips soaked in tobacco flavored Evian water overnight. Delicious 12 dollar whiskey! #funny font
