Same here. Cans: (1) travel better; (2) are more space efficient; (3) don't break when dropped; (4) seem to cool down faster; and (5) offer better protection from light.

Buffalo Trace is excellent; one of the best values in liquor. Around that price point, you might also enjoy: Elijah Craig 12y and Elmer T Lee (both traditional bourbons like BT), WL Weller 12y (wheated), or Four Roses Small Batch (high Rye).

Last night, I relaxed this:

One of my all-time favorites. If you're into wheat beers, I'd highly recommend picking up a bottle.

Had the Schneider Weisse Tap 6 Unser Aventinus to tonight. A great beer. My only problem was trying to figure out which beer glass to use. #firstworldproblems.

"GET OFF MY LAWN!"

... Might be a good name for a craft beer ...

"Lush with hops. A weed free malt finish. Well trimmed rye hints and a neatly kempt edging of barley. A subtle sprinkling of wheat fills any bare spots."

Great tier there for price/quality

1. Buffalo Trace
2. Elmer T Lee
3. Four Roses

I heard the Weller is great but I've never found it up here.

Been drinking a BUNCH of Tallgrass Ethos IPA, one hell of a beer. Check it out if you can find it...

Also, Stone Brewing company from SoCal just broke into the Nebraska beer market, and I recently tried the Ruination Double IPA, and their regular IPA. Delicious IPAs are everywhere in this city, and I definitely am not complaining...

Lots of New Belgium Rampant and Ranger.

While in Portland, OR for a weekend, I drank a bunch of different IPAs, as there are brew pubs and tap houses on every corner in that beautiful city...

I hadn't seen it until about a week ago. Kept hearing about it, but never saw it in stores. It's nice.

I thought I'd come in here and share the best beer I've ever had.

Not sure how easy it is to get outside of the Pac NW, but maybe someday....

Boneyard Hop Venom. It's out of Bend, Oregon and it's beautiful.

I mean, just look at it...

Sierra Nevada Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale

I may have got this a little too cold but has a very nice flavor of whoppers (malted milk balls) and cola when it is this cold. As it warms up the roasted malt notes become much more pronounced.

The Bruery Tart of Darkness. Sour Stout.

I love this beer. Big time sour notes (sour blackberries and cherries, some black and red currants that are slightly sour, some vinous notes, and just a little roasted malt (especially there toward the end and lingering on the palate).
