New Belgium Rolle Bolle Summer Seasonal.
N: A slight lager smell, with some slight yeast, and a smell that makes me think of pineapple flavored water. Some pale malts as well, and some crackers as well.
P: Tastes is light with some pale malts (crackers with a touch of salt), yeast, bread dough, some white pepper, and some light fruit notesthat remind me of unripe fruit (slightly bitter).
F: Pale malts, yeast, bitter herbal hops and some not quite ripe fruit.
I don't think I will be buying again, and I am glad that I got only one bottle of this beer.
Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale. Slight baby puke smell on the nose, with some smoked oak, maple, vanilla, and malt. Some hops but they are in the background. Everything but the baby puke carries over to the palate.
Stone Ruinten. Holy ****. If you see it buy it as long as you like hops. Loads of hops.
N: Tropical and citrus fruits. some pine underneath.
P: Grapefruit and pine. Loads of it. It scrubs your tongue and leaves bitterness all over it. Then some tropical fruits and citrus.
F: Bitter. Did I mention bitter? Some grapefruit and pine. Lots of grapefruit rind.
Damn this is amazing as long as you like hops and loads of them. This is a remake of the Stone Ruination 10th anniversary edition from last year. It will now be an annual release going forward. Find it and buy it.

I was drinking Hacker-Pschorr Weissen last night. The store I went to didn't have the 2 other Hefeweizens I was interested in trying so I got that. It was pretty good, smooth but a little spicy.
(I would not have typed those sentences a year ago. This place is turning me into a beer snob. Way to go, guys. Sheesh.)
It's tough to go wrong with any of the imported weizens. Which others are you interested in trying?
Expanding your horizons doesn't make you a snob! That's BMC propaganda talking.
Weihenstephaner was a top recommendation that I came across and I picked it up at a different store yesterday. It was a little less spicy, and more easy drinking than Hacker-Pschorr. But I'd gladly pick up a sixer of either in the future.
