Hah that's right! That was a couple months ago... man, it's been awhile since I ran out and they don't carry it in my neighborhood grocery store. Heading down to Charleston in a couple weeks though and planning on loading up. I haven't tried most of those you linked... what's your favorite?

Hopsecutioner is probably my favorite all around. But for eating pizza and drinking wings I like a lighter beer so I really like their golden ale. It's got enough flavor to be good but isn't as distinct as their darker beers. It's just a good cold beer.

Truth. If circumstances call for an American Adjunct Lager, I'll always reach for a Pabst or Yuengling first.

American Adjunct Lager of choice should clearly be Old Style. I guess some of you have been deprived of this nectar of the gods. I go to school in Fort Wayne, live in La Porte, and have been deprived of it except on my trips home as they do not distribute to this part of the state for whatever reason.

Any of you guys had Rogue Dead Guy from Oregon? I had it by accident at a pizza place here and it was awesome. Not much of a drinker but it's my new fav.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale

A top 3 beer of mine. So freaking good.

My favorite Maibock.

I was wondering why this is my Google banner ad now.

(I guess I'll just have to find the "Mature Latinas" on my own this time...)

Great Lakes Brewing Co Christmas Ale (yes, it's been in the fridge a while)

Im flabbergasted how this lasted in your fridge for so long. And a little tip. I'm not all for adding junk like fruit to beers... BUT... mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then rim the glass you will be drinking the Christmas Ale from. Pour in the ale and enjoy. So freaking good.

I'm having my mom bring me some Great Lakes Rye of the Tiger when she comes to visit next month. Anyone try it?

3 guys I wouldn't mind drinking with.

Get back from the far east and make it down to St. Louis and you have a few beers waiting for ya.

For me tonight, it's sort of a clean out the fridge.

Started with Schlafly Pale Ale. Moved onto Magners. Have some Moose Drool and Bud Lights in there. May close out with a Avery Maharaja. We'll see how it goes.

Me too! I keep adding beers into my fridge and forget about some of the older ones. Thanks for the tip though!

Avery Maharaja is a damn good beer.

Lagunitas SUCKS for me currently. Trying to decide if I want another beer after this or if I should switch to whisky.

Whiskey. Always choose whiskey.

I'm needing to get some Lagunitas SUCKS. The only bar around here that I know that carried it was out when I went. Now I have to wait until mid June when the paychecks from the big boy job start rolling in to pick up some of them.

Am I the only one around here who keeps reading "Lagunitas SUCKS" as a statement of opinion?

That is not difficult in my house.

AD Rattray Caol Ila 1984 26yo.

N: Sea air, some salt, clams, oysters, wood smoke, some barley and some citrus (think lemon zest).
P: Salted oysters with some smokeyness (think campfire on a beach) with just a hint of the burning embers.
F: Medium-short, with some lemon, lots of salt, oysters, and smoke. The peat builds for a second or two and just leaves a little smoke and salt to finish it off.

A very nice whisky.

I can't adjust. I know to look for it but my brain won't let me read it any other way.

It was tough. Took literally minutes of practice.

Found a Killian's the back of the fridge someone left here after a party. I should of had a buffer between the Magner's and Killian's. This tastes a little funky.

Is it a problem if I literally salivated reading that? Eventually I may veer from my Jack, but it's just so good. JD and I will be hard to part.

I know you've said before, but what's your bottle count at now?

I am at about 80 bottles open and 10 closed. Plus another 15 or so samples.

Edit: Also nothing wrong with salivating.

Gordon & Macphail Secret Stills Isle of Skye (Talisker) 1986 21yo sherry casks.

N: Figs, raisins, black berries, milk chocolate, some pepper, salt and polished oak.
P: Figs, chocolate covered raisins, light black pepper, salt and the polished oak. Also a touch of cinnamon and white pepper.
F: Medium long. The cinnamon, and white pepper keep building on the base of chocolate covered raisins, figs and salt. Some smoke and oak are also there but now in the background. Lingers for a couple of minutes on the back of the tongue.
