151 is now a bitch drink???...

A girl would drink 80 proof mixed, a bitch drinks 151 and mixes it. A real man drinks his **** (not literal) straight. I drink George T Stagg Bourbon (about 140-144 proof) straight. I would give him much more credit if he was just sipping on it.

Bulleit Bourbon. Usually splash some Coke in it to get a little caffeine on the side, but tonight it's been neat and clean. Feeling warm on a cold night. Still adjusting from Arizona to Hoth (nerds will get that joke).

Are you going to sleep inside your Tauntaun too?

In all my years bartending, 151 was definitely a bitch drink. It was always the loud, sloppy, obnoxious sluts that went for it. The kind of chick who has "train wreck" written all over her.

Sam Adams Baltic IPA. So glad that this is the last bottle of this beer. Tastes like a roasted nut lager. Simple and not very good.

Agreed. Do they do anything well?

The Boston Lager is okay for what it is.

Heading to a New Belgium Lips of Faith tasting this evening. Don't like Belgian beers, but Ranger is excellent and their new Rampant is a very nice Imperial. Will be interesting to see what there is to sample tonight.

Nice. I like some of the New Beglium Lips of Faith beers. the Cocoa Mole was good, the Dunkle weiss was good, the The Fresh Hop IPA was great, La Folie was great, Le Terroir was great, Super IPA was great, Grand Cru was very good, Imperial Chocolate Coffee Stout was very good as well. I think their Lips of Faith series so far as been very good though the Brett beer was a little rough. Have fun.

I thought the Biere De Garde was good too.

Loved the Fresh Hop IPA. Have sampled lots of others, and find them hit and miss. Always appreciate the creativity. I found Biere De Garde to be a bit nasty, frankly. Had a 2 oz sample, which was just the right amount.

What do you think of San Tan Hop Shock? My favorite San Tan beer is their fall seasonal Count Hopula Blood Red IPA. Just a great beer.

I like Hop Shock a lot. A nice standard...not quite a West Coast, but hoppy enough to keep my interest. Don't think I've had the Blood Red. Is it canned or only on site?

Only on site in the fall. I usually try to grab a growler or two of it.

Right now some Earl Grey tea with a splash of milk (the English way).
