I AM THE KING IN THIS CASTLE.
Nah, I actually got it for 10 dollars. Founders gave the city of Athens 24 bottles in 24 different bars. (1 per bar, not 24 per bar.) The trick was that it wasn't on the menus. So you don't know if a bar has it/had it or not. I drove around pretty much all night looking for one. Finally found one and it was bliss.
Working for a beer company has it perks but if you guys ever make it in to Wisconsin or Green Bay try dis shitz
Hard to know if I would like it or not.
Bought the Sam Adams IPA Mixology 12 pack today. I haven't had Sam Adams in years so I thought what the Hell (I also grabbed a 4 pack of Oscar Blues G'Knight Imperial Red and another 6 pack of Lagunitas SUCKS).
So far I have had
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA (wheat beer mixed with IPA) ok, rather refreshing, wouldn't be bad during the summer.
Sam Adams Tasman Red I normally like Red IPA's but this is just blah. Some caramel and just a hint of hops. Watered down and bland.
312 is solid.
Got a Charleville Hoptimistic IPA this round. Really good. There are a Tom of great breweries in the St Louis area. Eating at Iron Barley right now. Hit it up if you ever come to town.
