Just had a Dragoon West Coast IPA. :s::s: Never again.

Mesquite River Brewing's Way Off Camber Imperial Amber. :s::s::s::s::s: 9.2%
- For me, the best beer in Arizona by far and I'm a WCIPA fan.

MRB's Tucos' Summer Ale 5.4% Great. A better Mirror Pond with a hint of fruit. :s::s::s::s:

That Brewery's Batch 98 DIPA. Smoothest DIPA next to Hangar 24's Double Betty that I've ever had. :s::s::s::s: 1/2 8.3%. #2 beer in AZ for me.

If you ever get to Scottsdale, check out MRB's tasting room near Kierland.

Whattya in Scottsdale for? Are you drinking with Whiskey?

Had the brown ale, Bear Arms, at the new place in town. Solid, not spectacular but solid. Skipped the ginger spice ale, not by type of thing.

Moved back here full time. Cali just ain't for me. No Chicagoland / Region / Michiana folks to bust chops with... and I can only eat so much kale and raw fish.

I wish. Need to buy Crusader a drink soon. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet him this season.

Well quit duckin' me and jojoblack and stop on in the the old folks game watch. Hell, I might even buy ya one back if they still take EBT's.

Booooo.

Dragoon IPA is a good example of a West Coast IPA.

The AZ beers that I have been drinking lately (well that are good) are
Tombstone Dank Fruit DIPA
Tombstone Single Hop Mosaic IPA
Tombstone IPA
Tombstone Imperial Stout
Pueblo Vida Pillow Fight DIPA (drinking right now).
Pueblo Vida Andromeda IPA
Borderlands Toole Ave Single Hop Mosaic
Borderlands Toole Ave Single Hop Citra
Borderlands Starkiller Base IIPA

As noted in the above post I am drinking some Pueblo Vida Pillow Fight DIPA right now. Simcoe and Citra hops with some oats for creaminess. Very good.

Had Alesmith IPA while sitting around our first fire of the year. Unfortunately rain it, so I'm making myself feel better with Hoppy Birthday.

So Nelson is back? I had a small taste of it today, but it tasted a little different.

You're welcome buddy! I had a couple good sours last night myself....

Heavy Gem Virga
Indie Ale House Sunkicked

Those were both great beers and I recommend Indie Ale House to anyone going to Toronto.

The EHT Single Barrel was definitely enjoyable. Much more fruit up front than the Small Batch. I keep hearing the barrel proof blows both of them away but I am not a big fan of the really high proofs. I will probably try it when I can.

Anyway I recommend both EHT Single Barrel and Small Batch to those looking for bourbons.

Thoughts?

Kilkerran WIP Bourbon barrel for me.

Little disappointed actually. Definitely thought it would be better.

Thought it was almost a little too boozy. Arrogant Bastard is already kind of a big beer, didn't think this added much to it.

Dr Pepper with some roasted peanuts watching my Angels strand all the runners, all the innings.... tho I should have a stiff drink, they're taking this, 'get runners on and never score' to all new heights.... first three innings, seven left on..."
