I remember a party junior year at ND where we were slapping the bag (and passing the jug) with boxed / jugged sangria. My now-wife drove to me to McDonald's after because I needed a now-discontinued Angus 1/3 Pounder. The closest thing to a vomit bag I could find in the car was a plastic dry cleaning cover (with a hole in the top where the hanger goes). My car was stained with the most robustly-purple vomit you could possibly imagine.

Good times.

Boxed wine and Disney films amongst bros.... Beau doesn't fvk round
It was mainly some lady friends.

And if it weren't for the fact that they told me to keep it classy, I would've brought my Natty Ice or half gal of 7 per usual.

I'm so glad I joined this board.

At the last conference I attended, I went out with two judges and a county commissioner in the square in San Marcos Texas. We bar hopped all night and lost one of the judges during the night. We were hammered, to say the least, and caught a uber home as we gave up looking for him. Chalked it up to him probably using the "I'm a judge" card and taking home a young Bobcat.

Fast forward to around 6 am. I get a call on my cell phone. From a manager lady who works at McDonalds. Said judge had passed out in his car after he had eaten in the place the night before.....but prior to leaving the establishment, had taken a shit in the sink in the mens restroom, and pissed all over the place. He left his wallet, and cell phone in the restroom.

The reason she called me, was because his wife told her to have him thrown in jail when she called her. I was next on the list of calls.

Good times.

Well. It was pouring at JK. The rain didn't start until 4, which was nice. I got some beer at least, but now I'm in for the night to dry. Most likely anyways.

If you picked up a few beers from JK staying in sounds like a wonderful idea.

The problem is that none are cold and they recommend refrigerating them for 24 hours. I do have a bottle of Last Stand Smash IPA though...

Looks cool. Which IPA did you get?
Neither actually.

Ramshackle Golden Mild: UK and Belgian malts harmonize to create a depth of rich, toasty and bready malt tones supported by hints of toffee, toast, and nuts. Finish is dry and lightly bitter. Hop character is mild with floral and fruity tones.

The Sessions Pale Ale: We brewed this easy drinking pale ale with a blend of toasty and lightly caramelized malts to balance the unique flavors of Aurora and Azacca hops. The slightly peppery, floral, and jasmine notes from the Aurora create a wonderful field of depth when contrasted with the citrusy and and orange notes contributed by Azacca.

I tried the other two and they would have been excellent as a pint but a chore to get through a growler.

These texans even think they will out drink us. I can promise one thing- not gonna happen! I brought a couple of 5 stars with me, and I Have Zaire like leadership in that field.

Founders Backwoods Bastard aged about 11 months.

N: Licorice, caramel, vanilla, oak and bourbon
P: Holy coconut. Loads of it. Also vanilla, butterscotch and licorice. Bourbon and some oak.
F: More coconut, vanilla and bourbon.

Age has really brought the barrel favors out.

ABW ESSENTIAL OILS IPA. Defend but not spectacular.
Candy IPA. Forget table.
Oskar Blues Passion Fruit Pinner. Much better than expected.

Pinthouse Pizza ESB Nitro. Smooth and delicious.
Stone Mocha IPA. Good but not quite amazing.

Jefferson Chef's Collaboration bourbon.

My friend that is moving to Philly to open a brewery has offered me a job to work my way up. Tempting but I should probably stay.

What is everyone drinking tonight/this weekend for the start of CFB?
I have Stone IPA, the SA mixed pack and a few somewhat aged beers (SN Bigfoot aged 8 months) and Founders Backwood Bastard from last year.

Also I picked up Firestone Helldorado today for when my in-laws visit for Christmas. So far for their visit I have
Firestone Helldorado
Firestone Parabola
Firestone Stickee Monkey
Boulevard Rye on Rye X - Sazerac
Deschutes the Abyss 2014 release
GI Bourbon County Stout 2014, 2015 and I will get one from this year.
Founders KBS

Sounds like an awesome lineup pkt! Sorry, I just saw your post about the aged Bells 30th and Founders Backwoods. I have both aging but since I haven't had either in a long time so I wouldn't have been any help anyway.

Tomorrow I plan on drinking....

Cascade Sang Noir
Victory Sour Monkey
Stone 20th Citracado IPA
Shorts Psychedelic Cat Grass
Dogfish Head Higher Math
Atwater Pumpkin Spice Latte
A couple Bells 30th (thanks for reminding me)
Lots of Bells Oarsman

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late
