I had Founders Pale Ale on Nitro last night and it wasn't that good. I think nitro beer just isn't for me. What the nitro does to the body and taste just ruins beer that I otherwise would like. It's fine for Guinness, but every other type of brew that I'd had off a nitro tap has been a misadventure.

Had breakfast at SanTan brewing.
KiloHop DIPA. The best AZ brewed DIPA
Cold Brew Brown. Pretty good
No Beach IPA. Very good but fruity.

Also I had enough smoked chipotle pork belly to make me feel ill (though it was wonderful).

Weihenstephaner Vitus. Weizenbock.

Great head, cloudy, nice gold color.

Smells yeasty to me, almost weisbier like.

Tastes a bit like a standard wheat beer, but not that banana-y or clove-y.

7.7% Alcohol. I like it but I was really more in the mood for a pilsner or kolsch type; I opened without knowing anything about it. I think this would be good with strong cheese and maybe even roast pork with rosemary.

Edit: As this beer warms, it DOES get more banana-y, much more like Weihenstephaner WeissBier. Lingering bitterness. But the alcohol is pretty warming, making it not a bad autumn beer to match with smoked sausage and probably good with Mexican food, too.

Firestone Luponic Distortion Revolution NO:003. Canned 8/25/16

Nice and fresh. Another good release. I like how they keep changing the hop bill with every release.

For some reason I can't see the image but I can see that you posted one when I reply. Care to just post what it is?
It's because I'm on mobile. I'll fix it in about 15 minutes, but the Whole Foods is clearing out all of their kegs of rare and aged beer.

I know, but it's gonna be crazy pricey. I fixed the image btw.

The key is to go in with a plan.

The Firestone B.A beers (Parabola in particular but Stickee Monkee and Sucaba are also great), should be amazing. I would avoid Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA.

Pick 4 or 5 (or less if you are driving) to target and go for it.

Sadly I must drive, but only on the way back. I can walk there from work.

Is there a good food place within walking distance? I use to go to whisky tastings and then walk to a good restaurant afterwards and eat/kill a few hours before driving home.

They have several prepared food sections in the store for not terrible prices. ($7 for 3 tacos etc). The closest restaurant has 100 taps and is also pricier. The issue is the cost factor. I just bought a ticket to Rome and it's already been an expensive month.

Some 1 dollar Argentian wine we got at the dollar tree... No, really... But hold on to your butts,... It's,... Actually pretty good... Easily comparable to about a ten dollar bottle elsewhere... Considering we paid 99 cents, that's a win.

If it tastes like wine, $1 is a steal.
