Notre Dame should win by a lot, but we just played an emotional game which we won. Recent history doesn't suggest we will not dominate like we should. 31-21 Notre Dame.

41-24 ND

Pass defense still not lock down, Umass QB has his AA game for the season...

We get to see all 3 ND QBs in this game...
Tight ends keep growing in the offense this week, with Jones getting TDs 1&2
Procise gets a break, has 12 attempts. Freshman RBs carry the load.
CJ Sanders returns a punt for a TD.

Closer than it should be because, as usual, ND plays down to the competition.

The real elephant in the room: Who do you predict will have a season ending injury?

At home, and because of the VA game, I don't think they stumble again. VA is also much better than UMASS. They have a good QB, but I don't see either of their lines holding up against ND.

Since 2011, they have only like seven 3* kids, zero 4 and 5*s. I know stars aren't everything, but this will be the biggest talent mismatch on our schedule this year by far.

ND comes out flat early and takes a 10 point lead into the half. They pour it on in the 3rd, give up a few garbage-time TDs in the 4th.

40-20 ND

After watching Northern Illinois play with Ohio State for a full game, I'm never going to take a game for granted. And their offense is good enough to score 21ish points if things go right (or pull a UVA and get super lucky and score 28).

I don't think ND covers the 28.5... I think ND is up 10 at half, stretches it to 24 in the 4th, and maybe UMASS scores some garbage time stuff.

I see a Temple in 2013 type game. Dominating performance, but the score is lacking: 27-10

with a win like last week, comes expectations. I would like to see team focus on being consistent, and let the chips fall where they may. No doubt - speed, athleticism wise they should have UMass beat at every position. Focus on being consistent and the score will naturally be in ND's favor.

I would hate to see them play to the level of the competition and make a game of it. Just from a physical standpoint, UMass shouldn't be able to hang with ND.
