what if this intervention thing is true and he owns up to his mistakes and acknowledges his wrong doings? still kick him to the curb? idk..

Absolutely not. You forgive and forget, especially if his mindset and attitude changes.

But that's not happening.. Like I said, I'll sit on the bench with my mom and lick an ice cream cone while you guys get back on the ride.

I don't know if you could 'kick him to the curb' but I think there would be a new set of rules for sure.

Pretty sure BK et al. would lay into him so hard about the way things would be from now on that he might decide not to come back after all.


All in all, **** it. Hope he has good luck somewhere else.

yeah I'm with you.. Notre Dame would be an ideal place for people dealing with demons, but you have to want to be helped, and that's something I am almost certain he won't own

Agree on both counts. I hate to even indulge the fantastical thinking that there could be yet another turn in this saga, but the only reason I say "good riddance" to Aaron is because he didn't want to be here and it was impacting the team. If he suddenly recognized he made a mistake and did want to be here, I wouldn't tell him to screw.

But again, I give this practically zero chance of happening and I'm not going to be involved in interpreting cryptic social media dispatches in the hope that it bears good news. We really should just let it go.

of course if he wants to come back you let him come back. That is the whole point of family. That is why I think we were all so upset when he decided to leave. Nothing in life is perfect. I love the way the kid has performed in the classroom. Guys like Teo vouch for him. And Mamma Lynch has been trying to do what is best for her son all along. I give her props, she is doing everything a mother should. I hear what some of you are saying about, "if he doesn't want to be here just let him be." But if HE/AL wants to truly come back I think we are compelled to accept him with open arms. At least that is how I feel.
