So let me get this straight, JohnnySkillz, TP, and NDinLA are now gone? That really sucks. I always liked Johnny's posts, TP's insight, and NdinLA's passion (granted, he may slam too many redbulls and listen to too much heavy metal while posting, but still).

I hope all 3 of you find your way back here.

There is likely a federal statute covering specifically electronic communications. I'm too lazy to look it up.

And to the bolded part, I think that an individual's anger based on TP not citing sources or whatever is completely misguided. If all you care about are his sources (I'm speaking generally, not to your post), and you tell me that don't care for the fact that HE AND OTHERS MADE A VIDEO EVERY WEEK, as well as the personalized SICK photos he makes for most players & the team, then you are a liar.

I do find a sense of irony that someone claims others should grow up while also claiming others need to get mushroom stamped. Lol....just playin.

Were these all in the form of e-mails or PM's? If PM's, post the name of the jack***. If e-mails, I'm curious as to how TP knows they came from people on this forum. Either way, it's totally inappropriate and the offender needs to bugger off and be prosecuted if possible. Threats to one's family are not cool.

The best thing that those of us who are outside of the situation (in other words, everyone not named TurningPOint or Jason Pham, or designated as a moderator) can do is just to relax and let this play out like it should: in private. Don't let the mob mentality take over, and cause you to do or say things that are just as irrational as the behavior that caused the ruckus in the first place. What we know, thanks to Jason, is that the person(s) who sent these emails mentioned that they read the forums here. Guess what, folks? Guests can read the forums. It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be a registered member of this board. I agree that the behavior is abhorrent, but let's just all stay in control of our emotions until we have the full story?

On a serious note, hope this unpleasantness can be resolved quickly. TP is a great poster and asset to the site, and I hope this does not drive him away for good. It's a shame some people lose perspective at such a magnitude as this.

I agree that we should let this play out. However, it is a scary thought to think that anyone can post their feelings and thoughts on here and have someone attack them offline. Granted, this could happen elsewhere like FB or Twitter. Yet, I find it worse on here because we all have a common passion....ND Football! TP pursue this legally and with the mods here. You are also a reason why I formally joined after years of being on here as a guest.

If it was someone who knew TP's actual identiy and his "last name," then it was someone who knew his family and could find addresses, etc. Thus, it could be a longtime poster here, I'm really disappointed. Just sucks.

This is the first thought that I had. Some sour fan from another fan base attacking one of our best and most beloved posters. Let's stick together fellas and wish TP and his family the best.

ive had some 'private' run-ins with arrogant, omnipotent thinkers on this site as well(nothing along the lines of the threats that TP received). this act perpetrated against TP is something I would have thought beyond the scope of anyone on this site.

If you followed the crazy ex-LAPD guy who has been killing ppl in riveride, fullerton you would know that crazy bastard made the SAME EXACT threats towards police officers spouses, and children. That crzy bastard said he had access to where they live, work, and go to school. Maybe the person that made the therats to TP has same type of access. The type of access that someone who works/worked in law enforcement has.

I am going to hope that my first thought is not correct either......but nothing would shock me. the more I think about this, the more I get upset.

But the perpetrator got what he wanted, he got a great contributor to this site to leave, meanwhile we are all amongst that a-hole.
