We were talking about nepotism in college football coaching the other day. The Athletic must read us.
Some coaches see hiring family members as a way to foster stability and continuity, but it also can become a source of controversy.

"Utah’s Kyle Whittingham, Kentucky’s Mark Stoops and Purdue’s Jeff Brohm have brothers in staff positions, and several coaches — including Rutgers’ Greg Schiano, Indiana’s Tom Allen and
Kansas State’s Chris Klieman — have sons working as graduate assistants. Mike Stoops has worked for both of his brothers, first as a defensive coordinator under Bob Stoops at Oklahoma and now as linebackers coach for Mark Stoops at Kentucky."
Also, for parallels with Tommy, I'd forgotten that Skip Holtz was our actual offensive coordinator in '92 and '93. I guess no one cries nepotism when you almost win the national championship.
