The look on that dude's face while the judge is speaking is priceless.

Years ago, I filed in small claims court. A guy hit me, but didn't have a license or insurance. He said he would pay for the damages, but never did so I filed. We go to court. The judge asks him how he got to court since he didn't have a license. He said he had walked to court. Judge rules in my favor. Afterwards, I'm walking to my car when I see the guy hop in his car. I confront him and take him back inside to see the judge. Judge shakes his head and suspends him from getting a license for five years. I figured I'd never see the money. About 6-7 years later, I get a notice from the court that they had a check for me. He had been in the military and just got out. He went to the license branch, but was told he couldn't get a license until he settled the claim, so he finally paid.

This true for anyone else? I was born in '82, but I pretty much don't listen to any music after '99 (Usually it's Rock from the 60s-90s with some exceptions for Pop and Rap). While I occasionally enjoy some newer games, I definitely find myself going back to stuff I played from 15-25.

Well, according to this article, the guy did have a suspended license for quite awhile for unpaid child support. But in 2022 a judge rescinded that suspension, but there was a clerical error and the suspension was never lifted in the computer database.

So in the fall of 2023 he got stopped and was charged with driving with a suspended license. It's assumed that this court case would've resolved everything.

On the one hand, this guy got screwed. On the other, he was still stupid enough to show up to a court case (regarding driving with a suspended license) while driving a car.

what kind of beds do you guys sleep on. have had an all memory foam mattress from puffy for about five years now and decided to get a new one and after watching and reading a lot of reviews i decided to get a new memory foam mattress from nectar. they are not for everybody but if you haven't tried an all memory foam or hybrid which is half coil and half memory foam on top then do so because they are some of the most comfortable mattresses i've ever slept on

We have a Westin Heavenly. It's great but I only sleep on it FRI & SAT nights. My back feels a little funky on Sun when I wake up. It's a little too mushy for me but feels insanely comfortable for every person who lays on it.

I sleep on a $99 Siena FIRM Queen during the week in what we call the work room cuz our work schedules are off by 6 hours If I had to pick one, I'd go the cheap mattress.

The next bed we get will be a Brooklyn Bedding. My plant is in the same industrial park as their factory and we get a 40% off current sale prices. I believe Nectar's top of the line bed ranks highest but BB's had a few in the Top 10.

We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress a while ago, and it is amazing. The most comfortable mattress ever. Great for back support and lasts a very long time. Worth the high price easily.

I was skeptical that it wasn't a name brand, but when I tried it in the showroom I was hooked. The mattress stays cool because of the ventilation and the copper infused in the top layer. There's no springs, it's mostly memory foam and gel, and despite the fact I always sleep in the same position it never "divots." Every previous mattress I've had has sagged 4 years in based on where my wife or I sleep on it, but with this thick memory foam it always seems to retain it's shape throughout and it keeps support. I sleep great on it, great support for my back and still comfortable. I've had Serta, Tempur-pedic, Seely, and Beautyrest over the years and right now this one from Bob's is my favorite.

The wife bought the "Purple" mattress about 5 years ago and we have the adjustable frame for raising your feet and/or back. Not bad, but the next mattress is going to be a split so I don't have to sleep with it raised. Anyone thoughts on the sleep number?

About ten years ago my wife and I bought a new mattress from a Macy's store in Columbia, SC. She paid by check. After a few months we noticed the check hadn't cleared our account. Being the good honorable people we are, I went to the store to see what was going on. They had said that the deposit from that night had been stolen. I made a deal with them that I would write them another check if they would pay for the stop payment. They agreed. A few months later we noticed the second check hadn't come through our account. Back to the store I went and they had no idea what the situation was with the check. I made the same deal with the as the first time. About three months later I noticed the check hadn't cleared the account, AGAIN. So...free mattress...

don't know much about sleep number other than they are very expensive, watched several videos on youtube on best mattresses for 2024 before deciding on a nectar and not one had a sleep number in a top 10 or 8 best mattresses to buy but maybe somebody here on the board has had one and can say how good or bad they are
